I went to a car dealership to trade in my car, the dealership used AutochCheck, for the history report, on the report auction announced as structural damage was listed on 10-27-2017. When I bought the car used, no structural damage was or is listed on the car title, or car fax, I or my financial institution , ************* received, in fact *********** does not finance cars with structural damage. I contacted AutoCheck, and they gave me a case# ********, they later informed me that they contacted the auction house, and they said the car was announced as structural damage, and to have that removed I would have to take the car back to the auction house, have them check it for damage, and then have them contact AutoCheck again. The car has been check and serviced at my local ******* dealership, and I have been told there is no structural damage. They havent provided me with basic information such as which auction house the information came from or what announced refers too.Business response

Experian compiles reports from extensive, multiple sources in an effort to report on the history of the life of a vehicle relative to its vehicle identification number (VIN). The AutoCheck vehicle history report will call out certain historical pieces which may be of importance to a customer. The odometer readings reported which are flagging odometer inconsistencies were reported by various State DMVs in regards to different titles which this vehicle has held. As a repository for data, Experian Automotive will publish data received by originating data sources.
