I am the father of a patient with joint legal custody of a patient at this business. I have requested a copy of my daughter's file as well as information about a recent appointment. I have received no information and no response.Business response

It should not require me to contact BBB to obtain records that I have a legal right to procure. I should not have to wait one month for healthcare provider to respond to provide documentation regarding the well being of a minor. This is now the second time I have not been able to receive communication from said provider until the BBB is involved. How many more times should this be allowed to happen?Business response

After filing the complaint, the business provided the medical records requested. As this occurred, I am not sure why they would claim they need me to sign some form before they can release the records. Similarly, they have never sent anything to me directly or communicated to me a need to sign documentation. If this was the reason for the delay, why did they not communicate this to me and send me this document to sign?
This appears to be an attempt at an excuse for not providing the records when requested and to prevent a poor review on their business behavior.
