      We purchased a house in ******, **********. Before we receive the house, while we were doing the inspection, we found there is a giant hole in the bathtub caused by construction process. We reported to the *****, the sales representative who contacted us directly immediately. As you see in the picture, we wrote an email to her in middle of the November. However, she, and the sales team kept pushing us back and forth. They did not put any effort into solving the issue even giving us any clear picture of the solution to the issue. They kept telling us they will figure it out. After we move the money into the escrow account, we did another inspection to finish the escrow process. We still see the problem of the bathtub and we required the builder to replace the bathtub with a new one. Thus, we did not sign the paperwork saying we accept the house condition. However, the builder still recorded the escrow without our permission and without our acknowledgement. In such illegal and chaotic process, the customers right cannot be guaranteed and protected. meanwhile, back to the bathtub, the builder, Brookfield residential only offers us 3 years of warranty of the bathtub. However, as we all know, the bathtub's issue will appear after three years because of materials. By doing this, they are able to transfer their responsibility to us and we need to take care the problem caused by them. This is totally unacceptable and makes no sense. We wish we could get help from BBB.

      I am trying to get Brookfield to finish the last 2 items on our house. They are legally obligated to fix these things based in the contract and the warranty. I have contacted them every few weeks since February to get a status. Its now time for them to get this done. First, the front door needs to be replaced. It was the wrong size. Second, the walkway and driveway have cracks and have settled. Brookfield agreed to fix all of these issues The only answers I get are that they called the tradespeople who do these fixes and haven't heard back, or that they don't have an ETA. The site supervisor was supposed to have followed up on these items but I haven't heard.

      I purchased the home almost 1 year go brand new construction. They had to replace the flooring in both 3rd floor bathrooms once because of what they said was spray paint seeming through the vinyl. The same problem happened again, so I requested the floors be replaced with new materials. ************************* proceeded to yell at me on the phone and tell me that I was just looking for an upgrade. Because I am not comfortable working with him, nor letting him in my home, I still do not have new flooring to replace the mistake, nor do I have any credit pending for what I will now have to pay for to replace. There is no upper management involved because **** is the only contact listed anywhere. Bbb, please help.
