I took my family to this hotel the night before a ********** visit and had small children with me. The hotel isnt in a bad area; yet, there was a dirty drug needle inside our room when we arrived and the desk person and manager refused to refund me so that I could get a room at a different hotel. Then the desk person claimed that there was no needle in the room; however, I have a photo of said needle. There was also evidence of bedbugs, but the drug needle was quite a distraction even from bed bugs. The woman finally returned the charge back to my card, but we ended up having an extremely late night trying to find lodging due to their negligence and the funds took several days to be returned to me.Initial Complaint

This hotel is infested with roaches. They were everywhere in my room. Specifically room 145. This is a major health concern and the front desk doesnt care.Initial Complaint

Incident 6/11/2022 and 6/12/2022 The manager ******************* used my sister card information and id and made false paperwork Some of the staff and the manager ******************* we're very unprofessional The room had bed bugs and disgusting stains underneath.I had to sleep on the beach with my friends because we could not afford another room He would not give me a refund. Date check in 09/25/2021 Dare of Transaction 06/26/2021 Amount Charged $168.72 ($118room/$50deposit)Res#****.890.310 Vagabond Inn Promise to provide clean room in response to the conronavirus by taking additional safety and sanitation measures at this property, well working air conditioning, and working phone. I checked in on 9/25/2021 with myself, fianc', 3, 2, and 1 year old. We notice the room was really hot, humid with a musty smell. I turned the air conditioning on right away. The room did not get cold after being on for 25 minutes. We then notice what looks like cigarettes' ***** on top of the comforters on both beds, black stains on the chair, the walls are dirty, phone did not work, dirty sink counter and a dirty ice bucket. There was crack ceiling that looks like they are falling off with mold. We told the front desk our concerns and checked out 45 minutes after. Manager is not only refusing my refund but took my deposit as well even though we did not occupied the room.
