Great communication- Thank you *************************, CEO, for reaching out to me on this matter. I appreciate it. Im a realtor , and never have I dealt with such an incompetent lender. Also the mortgage broker, La Top Brokers. At the 12th hour this mortgage company tells the mortgage broker we are not clear to close. Every week I called the mortgage broker to see if we are CTC and I was told yup. Plus they ask for the same docs repeatedly from buyers. Its a nasty cycle with no end, but lies. Whatever you do run from this company . They will F*** you in the end. I recently had a very bad experience with Flex Point after being solicited by mail. After speaking with the first representative and having a good conversation I decided to go ahead with the procedure to re-finance. After complying with all the requests to furnish my documents I was told I need to resend some of the paperwork once again which is a lot of work for me to do after questioning the representative about him not receiving my documents I was told he lost them or they were deleted in error after that I stopped hearing from this gentleman so I call the company and spoke to another representative. After supplying more information to the 2nd representative I was told the loan is approved however I need to prove that 1 specific payment that I show in my net income. I sent over proof of the payment via money gram and the receipt and the name of the person sending it to me. Trying to complete all that was asked of me, yet the information I sent was not good enough for their underwriters. I was told I would have to go to ******* where I received the Money and ask for proof of the senders name. (the receipt was not good enough???) I tried to explain to the 2nd representative who was now being short with me that the ******* associates will not be able to show me the person's name that is sending me the money. I also after going through all this work sending paperwork did not want to spend an hour in line at ******* only to be told what I told the 2nd representative that ******* will not be able to supply the name. The communication got heated and instead of the representative being friendly and listening to my answer put the phone down on me and my loan that was approved fell through. After receiving a follow up letter from Flexpoint asking me to connect with them again I called back and spoke to yet another representative who was very helpful and apologized to me for the aggravation I was having. He told me to call the Supervisor of the 2nd representative to discuss this issue. That Supervisor never bothered to call me back so I called the 2nd representative once again who was extremely unfriendly, raised his voice to me and said they are not going to work with me. This was my lovely experience with Flexpoint after being solicited by them in the first place. Is this how you treat your new customers especially with great credit and all bills paid??? A nasty piece of work on the other end of the line and got my anger up. I don't like being hung up on or not have my calls returned especially after I did all that was asked of me. "Bait and switch" is the summary of my experience with this company. They have sent me multiple "advertisements" showing interest rate of *****% for 30 yr conventional mortgage. So I applied. Asked for their best rate for 20 yr mortgage. Response was: *****% + $7200 in fees. They got my credit report (800+ rating) and the salesman asked how his offer compared to (another company). Obviously he knew what that other company was by reading my credit report... sleasy!!!I said...OK... sign me up for the advertised 30yr loan at *****%.... I'll sign today.What a joke... no way anybody would get that rate!Eventually the salesman admitted that the "advertising" was just that... an "advertisement" to get my attention....that would never be honored. ******, Thank you for the feedback. I will listen to the call and chat with the Mortgage Loan Officer you spoke with. We can and do deliver the rates on our advertisement as long as the market hasn't moved in a negative direction. The Loan Estimate form was created so that consumers can compare on offer to another by shopping an offer around. Using that form from a competitor is the only way we can legally adjust our pricing. Mr (president), Im not sure what you learned from your salesman by listening to the call. Im sure he did what hes been trained to do and I want readers of this review to understand what you told me was standard business practice. That is, your salesman learned from MY Equifax file (which I had unlocked for 48 hours) that I was working with another mortgage company which he identified by name.. How does my offer compare to (other company)? I indicated to you that I thought this practice was inappropriate yes, even sleazy.I read on this BBB site your response to some other person that your advertisements take about 3 weeks for mailings to be delivered. I can attest that I have the same mailing from you 3 times over the last 2 months. They all offer 30 year conventional loans at *****% (APR *****%). So your argument that you deliver advertised rates so long as the market doesnt change just DOES NOT HOLD WATER! Just how many of those *****% loans have you delivered?????Further you state that you cant legally adjust your pricing. Please tell me what that law is. Federal law? State law? Or is it just some internal rule to satisfy your underwriters?Finally, Ill call your bluff. I now have a loan estimate from (that other company which you know). Its higher than *****%. Would you like to see it and then offer me a loan at *****%? Send me your email address..... Youve got my name, my address, my phone number, and my credit report. Need anything else?
