We went with NACA based off a mailer we received and speaking with them. They were helping with an unlawful detainer from a trust sale/foreclosure as well as a wrongful foreclosure. They explained they are non profit and there were no fees, we could give what we want and some people even donate just canned goods. We do not remember signing a contract stating they get 40% of our surplus funds. We moved out 9/27/22 and still we're waiting for the surplus funds which were not received until 3/2023. We still had an open wrongful foreclosure case that they were representing us for in court. The last court date I was told was happening was not until November 2023. I have heard nothing from anyone since receiving the surplus funds. Ive emailed in January and I've also called and left messages with NO response. Our surplus funds were approx ******, they kept ****** and we received ******. I would like an update on the wrongful foreclosure. Was it settled, continued? We never signed anything to drop the case, it was mentioned and we said we would not nor would we sign anything either so we're assuming it moved forward. Regardless, we should have been contacted with an update. We would like copies of everything we signed and shown where it says we agree to 40% and also copies of all of the court documents for both cases too.
