On July 27, 2023, we hired International Timeshare Legal Consultants to help us get out of our timeshare contracts which were becoming unaffordable. We chose them based on their A+ rating with the BBB, and they offered a money back guarantee. At the beginning of August, we sent them money via PayPal in the amount of $4,725, the amount for 2 contracts. We received our welcome packet, and forwarded them all the required material to move forward. After that, we heard nothing. I attempted to call the number provided, and a gentleman answered the phone, "hello," instead of stating his name or a law firm. He was not helpful or knowledgeable regarding our case.On Nov 7, I again sent an email asking for updates. They requested more information, (which was previously mailed to them)which I promptly faxed. On Jan 23, I emailed ******************* our dissatisfaction with the company and the lack of communication, asking for a refund if they could not help us. On Jan 31, I received a phone call from *************************** stating that he was our assigned attorney and that he had found a buyer for our properties, but that the sale was onhold by the *** until we paid $6000, which would be refunded to us at closing. Since this would cause financial hardship, he agreed to accept $2800, and we would return $3400 at closing. The next week he said the buyers would not agree and we had to send the entire amount. We liquidated all our savings to accomplish this, and sent the entire amount to a *************************** in FL. We were promised a quick sale.On Mar 16, "senior attorney" ***************************** called me and requested $8000 more, $5000 of which would be returned to us at closing. When I explained to him that ******************** knew our situation and that we didn't have that kind of money, he wanted me to cash out all my credit cards. I have repeatedly asked for something in writing, they refused. ******* gave me another #**********-attorney **********************. It is hard for us to trust them-seems like a scam

Company promised to dissolve our timeshare contract. On 2/13 ******************************** called & said they had found a buyer who would pay $32,000 + closing costs of $6,000. Because timeshare was in our name, we should pay the closing costs upfront & get reimbursed along with the sale proceeds. We sent the money to *************************** from *******, ** with a ********** account who was supposedly the escrow agent. Then ***** called that the buyer wanted to upgrade to points for another $23,000 + $9,000 closing costs. We questioned this and have never heard from him again or received our money back, despite asking for a cancellation of this transaction. We have also contacted client services at ITLC and asked told then the whole saga and requested our contract be cancelled and refund our $1,945 and have not heard from them, either. We did report this whole episode to the ********************** sheriff's office.

ITLC contacted me February 2022 via ******************* a sales representative regarding a legal timeshare exit from ****************** with the help ITLC. Researched company, they had A+ rating with BBB so proceeded. Paid $1475 via Paypal. Signed all agreements, ************* of ******** (notarized) and sent along with all requested info on 3/18/22. received the Welcome Aboard letter specifying attorney will be assigned to case and keep me informed along the way. Heard nothing for months, tried calling number provided, no answer. 8/2/22 sent email to ****** services email asking to be contacted regarding case status. 8/5/22 Received unprofessional, short response from *******************. Somehow the ****** services email address I typed automatically switched over to her at email. She informed me a consumer complaint being prepared and would be sending me more questions to answer soon. Also ask me how I obtained her email and to never use it again. 9/13/22 received email from ****** services stating they continue attending to my case and sending monthly updates. To date, this is the one and only status email I have received. Kept calling and emailing off and on since Sept. 2022 with request of case status and no response. 1/27/23 voicemail from ***************************, ******** w/ITLC stating changes with case and to call him back asap. Tried calling and emailing him with no response. Then 1/31/23 received email with invoice for $6000 due 2/18/23 stating I owe this before my timeshare could be sold (which I didn't know was even an option). Emailed back asking for explanation and proof of legitimacy. To date still no response after multiple phone calls and emails. Not sure if this has all been a scam as this company has no transparency or open communication. Complaint of lack of business ethic and deceptive practices with no communication. Possibly a scam. Need to either get in touch with someone at this company and BBB to verify the legitimacy of this business.

July 28, 2022 Companies agent, ******************* contacted us to see if we were interested in getting out of our Westin Timeshare on Maui, HA so we hired International Timeshare Legal Consultants to get ** out of our Timeshare. Unfortunately the company has been ignoring our phone calls and emails and we are concerned how they could have an A+ rating with the BBB.Best regards,******* & *****************************
