They also failed our test and gave us an estimate of $22,400.00 saying we had to replace the piston when our hydraulics system was upgraded in 2014 (in reserve study) and was misdiagnosed, the true repair was the valve for $6200.00 when we paid for a second opinion of $2000.00 on a pressure test. We paid the other vendor $300 to repair the clutch that they may have left misadjusted on purpose to cover the cost of the so-called "free" load test. There may have been collusion between the elevator inspector and Consolidated, from the recommendations that the city inspector gave us to the impromptu visit on May 16 because Consolidated knew I was coming back at 1:00 AM flight.Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: They did not resolve the problem of the door nor did they respond to any of my emails. We canceled the monthly contract and paid them $308.74 of the remaining $608.74 since the door adjustment costs $300.00.
