What a joke!!! Attempted to eat at Chevys in ***********, **. The customer service was less than poor!! We are fairly regular customers, but this was unacceptable customer service!! Server did not acknowledge that wed even been seated. When, she finally noticed, she brought us tiny broken pieces of tortilla chips and salsa (which we questioned), then, ordered our food and beverages. Order was served incompletein several ways. No server to be foundto remedy this, either. We asked to speak to a manager, and she said that she had just walked into a mess, herself. That says a lot!! It sounded like one fire after another!! The manager said she had worked 15 hours, the day before, because they are so short-staffed. She actually admitted to running out of tortilla chips, thats why we were served all broken chipsscraping the leftover broken chips, from the bottom of their warmer!! We couldnt believe what we heard!! We walked out, without touching our meal. ChevysIf you dont take care of your customers, they will not return, and, then, there will be no restaurantbut FIRSTyou have to take care of your employees!!! They are doing their best, but you cant retain customers, at this level. This used to be one of our favorite places to eatbut, we wont be returning. There were also three other parties, who left upset, due to lack of customer service. It was like mice, following a trail of bread crumbs, as all of us walked out the door. In the past, Chevys was known for its fun atmosphere, amazing food and friendly customer servicebut this *************************** missed the markon all of it!!! Chevys of ***********, SDthis was a complete disappointment!!!
