Hello, I made a reservation through Apartment Hunters for the Extended Stay America *******-Newark, ********** property, starting on October 8th. My name is **************************** and am staying in room 632. The end of the month is coming up for me and I signed up for the tax refund after one month. I was paying from Friday to Friday. I was told last week to go by and pay for the remaining days of the month. So I did that today on the 3rd of November and am payed up until the 8th. Now I was told that I have to make another reservation through Apartment Hunters, that I'm only for certain able to stay up to the 8th. They don't know whether I can stay past the 8th or even the new rate I will get. In addition, my question about the tax refund was not even answered. For the second month, I might stay two weeks or more. I am not sure how long as I am taking care of some work and business matters here temporarily. All this time, I was told that I will get a tax refund and that I could stay past the month without a problem. No one told me until today that I had to contact Apartment Hunters or that it was possible that I could not stay. I contacted Apartment Hunters after this incident and was told that the rate would be going up after the first month if I would not automatically rent for a second month. This is the opposite of the initial advertised offer, that past one month the rates would be the same but without taxes. The rates a night for the first month was $55.99 a night and now on the second month it will be $79.99 a night. Apartment Hunters' new rate and response are deceptive and contradicting everything discussed repeatedly via email. I would like my initial rate back and what was spoken about and advertised for one whole month. I stayed a month and will possible stay a few weeks or another month beyond it. I need help in this matter as soon as possible. Or I will have to look into another hotel ASAP.Thank you, *******************************
