This place is a scam. Backdoor shenanigans going on here.I consigned some very nice ***** pieces (which *** repeatedly called LARGOS and printed it with an R on my contract - which confirms they don't really know fine jewelry)I returned to the store twice in the next two weeks looking for furniture and I cruised by the jewelry cases to see if any of my pieces had sold. I didn't see them either time and figured they had been sold. I inquired each time only to see the associate go to the safe, open it up and tell me it was "on hold" for "*****" - who is evidently one of their frequent shoppers with built-in favoritism. They were holding my jewelry hostage for "*****" and not allowing it to be on display for anyone else to see who might be interested. All three of the ***** pieces were sold in less than 30 days and they of course gave "*****" a nice little discount on each piece. My payout check was $122 less than what they quoted me on the contract. Do not try to sell anything at this place. These people are scam artists.

This is in response to customer's complaint with regard to their jewelry.  Per the signed contracts by *************************, item #3 on the back of the signed contract states "Sales at asking price subject to automatic permission to reduce up to 20% to make a sale.  Also the customer is informed that they need to read the back of the contract to understand all the conditions.  Any customer would get the same courtesy of a discount be they be a regular or new customer.  Being a ********************** store all customers expect a discount to make the sale.

I purchased two chairs from HCC on July 10, 2022. The power chair had a *************** Term Warranty document attached with led me to believe there was warranty on the chair. Within 4 months, the chair started peeling behind where my husband's head sits. I emailed ******* and called them, but they do not warranty HCC as they are not a dealer. I went to HCC and asked for a remedy and they said ******* would provide the warranty, they would not offer me a discount on another purchase. It was FALSE for HCC to leave warranty documents on the chair when they are not dealers for Abbyson furniture.

I dropped off (2) high end pieces of furniture at the Home Consignment Center in like-new condition. The Home Consignment Center priced the curio cabinet for $1000 and the sidebar for $600. Prior to dropping off the items, I had advertised on ********* As I was driving away, I received a notification on ******** and I sent the customer to the store the day I dropped off the items and she purchased the curio cabinet for $1000. I then sent another customer who had contacted me through ******** to purchase the sidebar but she said she could not find it. I dropped by the consignment store to find the sidebar in the back of the store with items on and around it. I complained to the salesperson who assured me that the item would be moved. I stopped by 2 other times to find the sidebar pushed even further back without any way for a customer to view it. After a couple months, we were told the item did not sell and we should pick it up. Instead, we mutually agreed to drop the price to $500 and they would move the item so that it would be viewed. I stopped by one last time, and the sidebar was not accessible due to the items on and around it. I again, notified the salesperson. Because it did not sell, my son-in-law went to pick up the sidebar and noted damage to the top, legs, and back. It was no longer in perfect condition. He complained to the salesperson and I called the store and spoke and emailed *****, the store manager, inquiring about compensation for the damaged item. I have not been contacted after several messages left at the store and follow-up emails. I am not able to sell our item as "like-new" due to the damage. I am asking for $600- the amount I should have been able to sell it for had it remained in the condition I dropped it off. I am including the original email from the consignment store that stated what they would price the items if they were in "great condition". I am also including photos of the damage that I sent immediately to the store.
