DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH MIRION. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LOCATED IN THE ***********. ONE SIDE OF THE COMPANY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE OTHER IS DOING. ONE REP MAKES A PROMISE AN THEN THE NEXT REP SAYS THERE ARE NO NOTES AND THAT PRIOR REP DOES NOT WORK THERE ANYMORE. DISHONEST COLLECTION PRACTICES. Mirion has been intermittently trying to collect from me for an entire year of service and 3 dosimeters since 2015 I was unaware that the service was on auto-renewal and I continued to be billed. When I reached a customer service rep in late 2015 I was told I would be provided with a pro-rated cancellation fee, possibly 25% of the entire contract. This never happened. Without a quote from Mirion, I sent a check for 50% of the annual fee with a letter stating I was cancelling the service. I received further demands for the remaining 50%. My subsequent letters were never answered. Customer reps did not return calls and a "change in system" meant no one had any knowledge of the prior letters. **************** and collections do not communicate. I have since retired and my office (dental) is closed.. I received a voice mail in Jan 2023 from Mirion, which I returned. They wanted the outstanding balance minus a 25% discount or the account would go immediately to a third party. Then ******************************************************************* Jan, 2022!, If I paid immediately, it could be retrieved with no damage to my credit rating. I bit, because I am retired and need some relief from these people. I could not even get a statement prior to paying that my account would be completely satisfied by this payment. I then called the collection attorney's office (*************************) and was advised they could not find me in their system. It amazes me that Mirion is still in business. This must simply be a reflection of the need for this type of service and lack of competition. Dentistry does not even meet the exposure levels that require dosimetry badges!
