Nanny Connection charged me a fee of $2300 once I hired one of their nannies. This nanny suddenly quit after working for less than 2 weeks without giving notice; she simply didn't show up for work one day. As a result, we were working at home full time with no childcare for weeks. Nanny Connection tried to find more candidates, but none were a match. I successfully found a nanny through my own network, so I asked for the $2300 to be refunded. They said they do not charge a fee unless a nanny is hired. Being that the nanny quit, and I ultimately didn't hire a nanny thru their agency, I want my $2300 back. The agency claims I signed a contract, but they have failed to provide a copy. They can't find it bc I never signed anything like that. When I asked her what happens if we don't find a nanny, she said there's no fee. See in the attached, that there is nothing in her communication or invoice indicating No Refunds are given.She is penalizing me for her employee's misstep.
