Used auto was purchased from Always Affordable Auto, LLC on 1/19/2022. Representative from car dealer told buyer (***************************) that they would handle all *** transactions, as they are authorized. Buyer was charged $250.00 for Registration/Transfer/Titling Fees. This would include the payment for the transfer of the title, issuance of the temporary registration to use until permanent registration and sticker arrived in mail. Late February/Early March, title and registration arrive from ***, no new stickers. Week of March 28th, Buyer receives renewal notice from CA *** for $208 as the yearly licensing is now due. I reached out to the owner of Always Affordable Auto, LLC **** and he directed me to *****, his transferring agent. After a 24 period, ***** told me that she did transfer the car title and that she was unable to complete, as the *** system is setup in a way that will only allow us to renew your registration 75 days before the registration is due. She provided me with an alternative to pay ~$300 to her to register the car, which included their $80 processing fee. I escalated to *** as I had already provided them the $250 back in January. ** confirmed he will check with ***** and "make it right". 3/31 - spoke with *** he refused to adhere to the terms of the written agreement. He would not offer a resolution, nor would he offer me a refund of the amount the ******************* is saying that is required to register the vehicle ($204.00).Business response

I purchased 2011 ******* Sonata on 11/23/2021 for $7,000.00. Six weeks after purchase and only driving it **** miles, the car broke down, the engine would not start. The car is not drivable and had to be towed several times to a repair facility. A certified Firestone mechanic diagnosed the problem as an internal oil leak from a cylinder head and the block is cracked. The engine repairs exceed the value of the vehicle rendering it currently worthless.I asked for my money back, repair the damage or replace with a like vehicle. The dealer refused and said they have no responsibility after the car leaves their lot. The dealer verbally guaranteed that the care was in good running condition and had no defects. This was even after I explained that needed a reliable car for my daughter for college for the next four years. Since the original purchase and before the break down, I upgraded the tires, aligned wheels, tinted the windows and had a deep cleaning detail for $1350.00.Total amount to recover is $8,350.00.
