On October 9, 2021, my wife and I went to Mandarin Taste Restaurant in Diamond Bar, California. We selected Number 18, Sizzling Two Flavors, on the Specialties Menu. The dish was described as being served with "Fresh Shrimp and Scallops...". The description made no mention of having potatoes. We were served potatoes in place of scallops. We mentioned the problem to the owner but he said that the dish was indeed served with potatoes and that was that. He did not apologize or offer to refund our money. We were charged $81.87 for the dinner.Business response

As we understand the offer, we would need to appear at the business in order to receive the 20% discount. We appreciate the offer but we would rather not have to revisit the business. Mandarin Taste has been a staple of diamond bar for more than 40 years. As all cultural restaurants do, we have our traditions and specific ways we prepare our dishes. With that being said, we can accommodate by preparing any dish to your specifications if you decide to come back for a meal.
