On 07/03/2023 I received a root canal treatment, I received a re-treat for the first root canal on 07/11/2023. I was still in pain those 8 days. I was told by ***** who checked me out that I was not being charged for the retreat since the procedure was not done correctly, there was still an infection on a canal causing pain. My dental insurance was still charged and I practically was charged twice which exhausted a great amount of my yearly dental benefits. I called after the retreatment claim posted and she assured me that they were filing a corrected claim, which has been delayed. I spoke to her approximately 2 weeks ago and they still have not processed the billing adjustment.Business response

***************** originally did the root canal treatment on 7/3/2023. ****** came back on 7/11 and ***************** did perform a retreat, but should have only been charged out as a post-op check since the initial root canal was done just a week prior. We submitted a corrected claim to insurance and they are still process of fixing the claim. ************** insurance does take some time for them to process claims and claim corrections. At this point, insurance has received the corrected claim, and is working the claim on their end.
