A contract was signed in 09/2020 with **********************************. A 2 story house project turned into a four year project. Communication was poor in the middle of the years however became good. Also it has been raining a lot and he did not let anyone know to protect the house from all the rain. The wood has been affected and he has not visited the site to check on the project. Recently on March 9, 2024, he stopped all communication completely. The house project is not nearly done. The amount paid has been reached however the services is not fulfilled. He abandoned my familys house project. Leaving me, my husband, me being pregnant (very stressed out) , my deaf siblings, and my two parents in their 70s to deal with solving this issue. We have paid so much and saved money to be able to build this house.********************************** has breeched our contract and lied. He took advantage of my family. Currently, it has been said he is active on social media and his mother stated he is doing fine. Which means he purposely is avoiding us and has no remorse in what he has just done.He also lied to my family in emails, stating that he is licensed and bonded, took on the project , only for us to find out that he has been practicing without a license. We had no ideal.This is very unjust and he has stolen money at this point. Our house should be done or we should be getting reimbursement back.Initial Complaint

I paid MKB Home Design for work that was not completed. The work began April 2021 and continued until August 2021. I have not received $**** worth of services. I contacted the owner, Mr. ********************** many times, and he said he would complete the work and then failed to do so. I sent a formal demand letter, and Mr. ********** signed for it on 5/17/22. He has made no attempt to reach out to me to attempt to resolve the problem. The invoice numbers are #****** dated 3/15/21, #****** dated 3/19/21, #****** dated 5/12/21. We have completed the work at an extra expense to us and would like a refund of the money we paid him.Initial Complaint

The contractor ***** ********** lied to us about many things. He sent unqualified sub contractors that never completed their jobs and caused damages to our home. He also uses workers he met off the streets. He is a liar and a thief! He took money from us for wood floors he never delivered. We tried to resolve the issues with him amicably but he continued to lie to us and has refused to refund us the money we paid him for the floors we never received. This person is a thief and should be in jail!
