I******************** went to the nail salon LA NAIL AND SPA on 10/31/22 at about 11:55 a.m. to have a manicure done. The woman whose name shall remain unknown did not have a badge with her name on it. I asked if the manicure would be $22 dollars, per the sign posted on the wall inside the nail salon. She said yes. Once I was sitting down at the nail station for her to do the manicure on my hands I asked her if she would charge me for taking the blue nail color on my nails and she showed me the prices printed on a laminated piece of paper for the manicure for $22 dollars only. I looked at a book that had all the nail colors and told her I wanted a regular manicure number 159 (hot pink) only and not gel. She then started to do the manicure on my hands. I then asked her how much was it for the nail color that was on the wall where it was written, " Glow in the dark." The other manicurist sitting on the next station to the right of me then said to me $5 dollars more. Next, both these women started to laugh at me after I said no thank you. I'll keep the number 159 for the regular manicure for the hot pink. Before she was done with my own hands I wanted to pay her with my ATM card before she applied the nail color so that it would not smudge the nail color. The manicurists then took my ATM card and was having a hard time with the machine working to provide me with a receipt. After several minutes she was able to provide me with the receipt for $32.20. I asked her why did you charge me more than the $22 dollars for the manicure If I had asked you several times how much the manicure I was getting from you was going to be $22 dollars. She was having a hard time explaining anything to me because of the language barrier. **************************************** I don't think she neither understands English very well nor does she speak it.
