In December 2021, I hired this company to install a water softener. The water softener was installed by their contractors. As a result of the system installation, nearby grass was destroyed and never grew back. When the grass did not grow back, I assumed it needed to be replaced following the installation. I discovered afterwards that the system was installed on top of a sprinkler head. The sprinkler head needed to be repaired and moved from underneath the system. The companys customer service team stated that their installation contractors only honor a 6 month warranty. However, this issue was not visible or recognizable at the time and the length of time that has passed since the installation does not change that the system was improperly installed. The company is refusing to rectify the improper installation or provide a complimentary maintenance service for the system.

We contacted Ms ********************************* and have resolved this matter with her on June 5,2024. The technician who originally installed the system performed a maintenance service free of charge as the customer requested.Customer response

The person who came to my house representing this company told me the government was providing this service to elderly people . My mom is a Senio Citizen I am her IHSS Caregiver , he had me sign a paper, when he left he gave me an envelope and told me that was a copy of what I signed , I keep getting bills ,when I opened the envelope the document he left me a copy of looks like a contract for a loan . I called the company that is billing me and they said they are a finance company who financed a loan for us. The expressed they were sad that this happened to us and we were mislead but they cannot help me . The gentleman representing the company came by yesterday and he is telling me that I imagined everything I am saying . I am Diabetic and have to care for my mom too. I reached out to my neighbors an elderly neighbor said they were approched with the same story , this was a service provided by the government to Senior Citizens , luckily for him his daughter spotted the fraud and turned the gentleman away. I feel cheated, robbed, andBusiness response

Good afternoon,
We are conducting an investigation regarding the claims made against the independent contractor. We are a privately owned company and are not associated with any government agency. We are unable to provide a refund to the customer at this time because it is passed the three day cancellation period and we are no longer the legal owners of the water system. We have spoken with *****************************, the customer, and the third party finance company regarding the situation, as well. Aside from the signed contract between the customer and the finance company, a routine verification call was made from the finance company to the customers before any billing was in place. The phone number in the contract is of ***************************** and is the phone number that the finance company used to conduct the verification call.This call outlined the customers personal information, product being purchased,and terms of the contract. The customer completed the verification call by agreeing to the financing terms and proceeded with the purchase.
