In May 2022, BBB investigated Babies Nutrition's business practices. This investigation was prompted by consumer inquiries received by the BBB. Consumers alleged that the business fails to sell products as advertised, sends wrong or incorrect orders and products, and fails to fulfill some customer orders and respond to consumer inquiries.
On May 27, 2022, BBB sent the company a Business Practice Inquiry to request the following:
- Provide the current fulfillment process and steps the business takes to ensure delivery of the order.
- What policies and procedures does the business have for assisting customers who receive wrong items or wrong orders;
- Details regarding how consumers are notified of their order status;
- The current process is in place to respond to consumer's feedback;
- Provide BBB a list of current contact information (address, contact person, email address, phone number) or add this information to your website.

BBB's Code of Advertising 20, Warranties or Guarantees Section when using the term “warranty” or “guarantee” the advertiser should clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to the sale which could include putting it on the seller’s website. Advertisers should disclose any material limitations on a "satisfaction guarantee" or "money back guarantee" and define, for consumers, the meaning of claims such as "lifetime guarantee." BBB's Code of Advertising 29, requires that expressions of opinion or intangible qualities of a product or service do not need to be substantiated. Such claims include “we try harder” or “best food in the world.
