We purchased a hybrid hot water heater from Sunlight Solar in June 2020. The hot water heater has a leak, it is leaking water into my garage. We can not find a company that will work on this type of hot water heater and have even tried calling the manufacturer to get recommendations. After futile attempts to find a company that can work on this, we called back Sunlight Solar and they told us that they could work on the heater that they installed. We agreed to pay $250 to them and told them the issue that another company had told us what the problem was. We even had the part that another company ordered for us. They cam out to the house and stated that they could not work on it even though they has told us that they could on the phone and that is why we had agreed to the cost. They then told us that they were still charging us $250 for the visit and that they would put a lien on our house if we didn't pay it. So they not only sold us a hot water heater that no company work on, they are charging us $250 just to come out and tell us that they cant work on it. They said they can work on the outside but not the inside and we had told them ahead of time what the issue was. At the minimum I dont want to pay the $250 but it is only good customer service to fix the problem or replace the product.Business response

Unfortunately, this is the second time within the past year a homeowner has confused us "Sunlight Solar Inc" with another Sunlight. We are not the company you are referring too, as we've never sold a water heater, and we only have conducted business in the **********. Please remove this complaint ASAP.Customer response

Bought a system for over 60k that is suppose to produce over 20khw per year its been a year already and the system havent even produce half of it was promise.Business response

We have not installed any solar system in the ****************. Please contact a different "Sunlight Solar". We are Sunlight Solar Inc., I'd imagine your system was completed by a similar named business.
Please remove this complaint ASAP, as it does not pertain to the correct company.

Signed contract to begin installation of solar power system April 2022. As of today, no functioning system. I have been told various excuses with permits. They have put the panels on the roof, then taken them down because inspectors told them to. As of today, the solar panels are stacked on the side wall of the house and I cant get anyone at Sunlight Solar to give me a reason whyBusiness response

We are Sunlight Solar Inc. and we have only performed installations in the *******************. Your issue has to do with another Sunlight, maybe Sunlight Solar Energy? I'd recommend making sure you contact the correct company. Also, I'd appreciate it if you removed the complaint against us.

This company calls my cell phone 5 - 6 times a day all week. Despite asking nicely to take me off their call list, the calls keep coming in. Yesterday, they called again and I yelled to please take me off their call list. They hung up and then 5 minutes later another person also from Sunlight called and again I yelled at the top of my lungs to stop calling me!!! I informed the person I would be filing a complaint with BBB and FTC. This is ridiculous! Today, at around 1 pm, they called again. Please help stop these people from harassing me. I have never done business with them. I owe them nothing. I am not interested in solar. They just need to stop already. Months of calls from them and me saying no is not helping. I shouldn't have to change my number for them to leave me alone. Please help!Business response

I bought a Sunlighten Sauna on May 28th 2020, and it was delivered to me on August 30th, 2020. The first time the heating element broke is June 26th 2021. We also never had a working stereo, so they sent us a poorly made sauna. They replaced both our stereo and the heating elements on July 1st 2021.Again on March 17th, 2022, the heating elements broken again. We used some of the leftover heating elements and replaced them according to instructions they sent me. Now on May 29th, all of the heating elements are broken again. The Sauna does not heat up at all.This is the 3rd time we are having to replace the heating elements in less than 2 years! Since we are still within the warranty period, I am requesting a full refund of this sauna. We should not have to spend all this time and energy for such an expensive device. Hello, we would appreciate if you could write a review of the correct company. We have never installed sauna or any pool systems. We specialize in PV solar, which is tied to the electricity. And regarding the reputation, we take great pride in having an amazing one. Please correct the review to the proper company.
