**discrimination and disrespect**I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience at Burgers and Beer, where my elderly parents and I faced blatant racism and disrespect from the staff, specifically *********** parents arrived first to celebrate my dad's 68th birthday and asked the host for a table of 15, but asked if she could check if our party was already seated towards the back. The kind host waited as my mom went to check, where they encountered **** who agreed to seat them at a large table. When I arrived shortly after I informed the host that our party must be here, and upon seeing my parents were already seated and talking to ****, I handed her my cake which she kindly volunteered to put away. However, just minutes later, a large party of about 20 people arrived which **** observed as he had a clear visual of the front door. **** immediately decided to move us to accommodate this larger party, despite the host's attempts to explain that we had arrived first. He rudely tried to relocate us to a table meant for ten people, which was insufficient for our group. ****'s dismissive and condescending attitude was appalling. He even gestured for us to "shoo" and insisted we move, ignoring our rightful place and the host's explanations.Even after the host and his manager, ****, confirmed that we should have been seated first, **** refused to understand as he had already seated the other party and insisted we had not checked in with the host upon arrival. **** eventually offered to rectify the situation by moving the second party from the large table, but by then, the damage was done.We felt publicly humiliated and discriminated against due to Freds ignorance.As long-time valley natives, it is disheartening to see Burgers and Beer prioritize their chosen customer base and usuals over others. This kind of discriminatory treatment is unacceptable, and I urge others to reconsider supporting businesses that do not value all their customers equally.
