I am asking for a refund of $61.23. My husband died 8/26/2023. He subscribed on 3/19/23. On 2/19/24, 8 months after he died, his trust account credit card was charged $61.23. I do not use this service. I am his wife and trustee. His name is *** (******) *******. Address: ******************************. His phone was ************. It is disconnected now. My phone is ************.I wrote to your Zen Desk and all it did was cancel the account. It did not credit the trust.I also wrote to an address I found online. I have a yearly subscription with Motortrend that expires each June. In Febuary they emailed this.Hey there, MotorTrend+ premium video content will be moving to a new home on discovery+. As a result, on or shortly after March 25, 2024 you will become a discovery+ (Ad-Free) subscriber. Youll continue to have access to all of the premium video content available through your MotorTrend+ subscription on discovery+ at no additional cost. This includes your MotorTrend+ favorites in addition to reality content, new shows and a variety of automotive shows like Street ********************* and ****** Brothers. Your MotorTrend+ subscription and related data will be transferred to discovery+ and you will be subject to discovery+s Privacy **************** Agreement. Your discovery+ subscription will be billed on your following renewal date using the payment method associated with your subscription at your current price of $54.99/year, plus tax. To get started on discovery+, download the discovery+ app on any supported device or on your computer by going to discoveryplus.com. From there, sign in with the same email and password you used to access MotorTrend+. After that, you can stream all of your favorites like Roadkill, ******* Rides, ***** Metal, live events, and more. I have emailed MotorTrend a few times without a reply. They do not have a phone number to call. I do not want to renew my subscription as I don't think it is worth it anymore. I subscribed to motor trend magazine. I then found myself getting billed 5.99 monthly for streaming service! I cancelled magazine subsc. but streaming service is separate entity n has NO phone number! I have emailed them each month for 4 months n keep getting billed! I have never used it! We found there was a current support ticket for this issue (581802). After investigating, we identified that the account in question had already been terminated. We have also provided 6 months of service refunded ($35.94) as part of our resolution. If there are other concerns, we can continue to resolve them directly with the customer.

I have written Motor Trend magazine at least 3-4 letters. Starting in 8.30.23 and the most recent being 10.19.23 to let them know my address changed from ***************************************************************** to the above.I know my account is paid up until 2/25 because I sent them checks on 7.21.21, ck# ***** for $22 to cover 2 years then again on 1.6.23, ck# ***** for $22 for 2 more years.I have not received my magazines or a reply to my requests.Business response

We have updated the address for ************** to the address requested in his complaint. Since ************** purchsaed a second 1 year subscription in an attempt to correct his account and lack of service, we will refund ************** 1 of the 2 transactions. I ordered a gift subscription for the Motor Trend channel on 6/18/2023 but the recipient never received an email. I double checked the email address for accuracy and the recipient also checked their junk mail folder.I contacted customer service twice and have never received a response. I received confirmation of my submitted request and I received a survey regarding my satisfaction of with customer service.I have requested a refund via Paypal as there is no way to resolve the issue if customer service will not respond.Business response

So that we can investigate and address the issues here, can you please reach out to the email help at motortrend.com so we can get additional information needed? For the issue with the gift subscription, the order ID (it should look something like MOT####) and the email address you were trying to send it to. Then for the issue with no response to your ticket, if you have the ticket ID numbers and what email address the ticket messages came from (one address might be: support at motortrend.zendesk.com).
Both of these are important issues to us, and we want to work with you to get them sorted out quickly. I'll make sure the team at help at motortrend.com knows to be on the lookout for a message related to a gift subscription not received.

They keep sending me past due invoices for a magazine subscription I haven't ordered for the past two years. Last year our bank made them refund money because they took money out of our account without my permission. I sent them a response on 10/26/22 telling them I did not want the subscription. Apparently they paid no attention. Today I got another past due notice. I have tried calling them and emailing them . They don't answer the phone and emails don't go throughBusiness response

We've investigated and found that your subscription had apparently been still set for an auto-renewal which explains how those renewals happened. We'll go ahead and get the subscription cancelled and make sure that the auto-renewal is also turned off to prevent this from happening again.

On the morning of October 28, 2002 I received a notification that I was billed $48.70 by a company representing motor trend channel. It said it was due to me having a subscription to MotorTrend channel and authorizing a payment. I did not authorize a payment to be made, I only purchased a ********** toy car That came with a complementary issue to MotorTrend channel. I did not agree to any subsequent transactions to be drawn automatically from my account. Furthermore since the time of that purchase, I changed my debit card number to avoid an automatic charge from another organization that is a tech retail outlet. All of my authorize charges had to be set up once again because of the new account number. I was surely surprised when I charge came through that I did not set up on the new account. I have no idea how this charge was made by them, nor did I authorize it and I simply want my money back. Thank you for any and all help in retrieving these funds as they come in a very bad time for me.Business response
