    My Credit card was recently charged $179.00 by ****. I had an annual subscription of $119 with Beach Body on Demand. I never signed up for BODi or authorized an increase or upgrade to $179.00. When I finally found a contact number to inquire about the charge I was told I had to fill out a policy dispute form. I did this. This is a scaled-back version of what I received from them: BODi- We have thoroughly reviewed your exception request, account details, and customer service *********** We didn't receive any requests to cancel your annual BODi membership until 07/10/2024 over phone, SMS/TEXT, or self-service. Our system shows that we sent you an email about the BODi membership upgrade on 04/12/2023.Subject Line: Upgrading your membership important changes with 35 days of free access!AS: I get so many promotional emails. Nothing in this subject line alerts me that they are forcing a mandatory "upgrade" on me 2) Our system shows that we sent you a Pre-Bill notification email on 04/15/2024. Subject Line: Your next year of results with BODi!AS: Again, this is extremely deceptive. How does this subject line indicate it is linked with a payment increase? BODi- Unfortunately, were unable to approve your exception request for a refund. Here are some of the facts used to consider your request:When you signed up for Beachbody On Demand, you checked the box to accept the Terms and Conditions.Within those terms you agreed to automatic renewal which required you to cancel to prevent future charges and eliminate access.Like all memberships that auto-renew, you will continue to receive access and be billed regardless of usage until you take the action to cancel.For digital memberships, the 30-day Money Back Guarantee (MBG) only applies to the initial order date. Membership renewals are not eligible for a money-back guarantee.For more information on MBG, please refer to FAQ #*** They should be investigated. Members should be entitled to a refund.

    I was sick and did not realize it was the renewal so I did not cancel. They refuse to refund me. That is insane that a company would run like this. Worst customer service I have every experienced. How do you charge me twice??? I actually liked this company for a minute but now I never been more dissatisfied as a customer.

    Upon reviewing your account, we have confirmed that on July 22, 2024, your annual BODi membership renewed. Prior to completing your purchase of the annual BODi membership, you were required to agree to the terms and conditions. Within those terms you agreed to automatic renewals and shipments, which required you to cancel to prevent future charges and eliminate access. Because your subscription was not cancelled, it auto renewed per the Terms and Conditions that you opted in to at enrollment.

    Our records show that the annual BODi prebill was sent to your email address on file on June 20, 2024. At the time you had the ability to manage your membership prior to the next scheduled renewal.

    Your annual BODi membership was cancelled on July 22, 2024. You will continue to have access until July 22,2025.

    Upon further review, we have confirmed that you purchased an annual BODi membership under a secondary account on July 08, 2024. The annual BODi membership was cancelled on July 22, 2024,and a refund was processed as the purchased was within our money back guarantee policy.

    For digital memberships, the 30-day money back guarantee only applies to the initial order date. Membership renewals are not eligible for a money-back guarantee.
