      I order the meaningful beauty products and did not see any stipulation on this was a membership?I then found out by the charges on my credit card. I then on June 6, 2024 that I agreed on these products which I did not. I ask them to cancel my membership. The person said he did and he did not. So I call back today July 6th and I said please cancel my membership. The same person told that he can't I fullfill my agreement. I told him what agreement? I told him that after the last shipment I will dispute this with my Credit card company! Meaningful Beauty is committing fraud and needs to be stopped!

      Our records reflect that you enrolled online for automatic shipments of Meaningful Beauty May 4, 2024, with the purchase of a 30-Day 7-piece introductory kit.

      We make every effort to be forthcoming regarding our promotions and offers for Meaningful Beauty via the website, TV infomercials, inbound sales phone line, print materials, product packaging and billing.  Customers that choose to purchase any of our introductory kit offers are informed that they will receive automatic shipments until they contact customer service to cancel or make changes to their membership.  One-time purchases are available without automatic replenishment, but the one-time offers are only for individual items (not kits) and are only offered at retail pricing.  The information regarding the terms of the online offer and the replenishment program is provided on our website before an offer is selected and in the shopping cart - in bold print-prior to any personal information being entered.  Before customers may finalize their purchase,they must check a box that states: "By checking this box, you are electronically signing your order, agreeing to the terms above and to our general Terms &Conditions, including our no-commitment auto-replenishment program, and authorizing us to charge payments to the credit card you provide.  Your authorization of future shipments and associated charges was provided by checking this box to complete your initial order.  The products are also shipped with information reiterating the terms and benefits of membership including the next scheduled shipment date. 

      More specifically the offer your purchased states: One month after your first order is shipped, and then every three months thereafter, you will be sent a new full-size supply of Meaningful Beauty. Each shipment will be charged to the card you provide today, in three monthly payments at the low price of $79.95 plus $4.99 for shipping and handling per month, unless you go online or call to cancel.  All orders are subject to applicable sales tax.  We regret if you found the offer unclear in any way.

      On May 6, 2024, your initial order (a 30-day introductory kit) was sent for a total of $64.31 (including $4.35 UT sales tax) which was charged in full at the time of shipping to the credit card provided.

      On June 5, 2024, per the terms of your purchase, your 2nd shipment (a full-size 90-day replenishment kit) was sent for a total of $272.21 (including $14.97 s&h and $17.39 UT sales tax) to be billed in 3 installments over 31-day billing cycles.  The 1st installment of $90.73 was charged at this time leaving a balance of $181.48.

      The following day, June 6th, we received your phone request to cancel your Meaningful Beauty account, but our records indicate you accepted an offer to postpone future shipments instead since you had not yet tried the products. The account was placed on hold until December 6, 2024, at which point shipments would resume.  Information was provided regarding the shipment that had been sent the day before, its total cost, dates and amounts of the remaining two payments, and the available 60-day Money Back Guarantee.

      On July 6, 2024, the second installment of $90.73 for your 2nd shipment (the full-size replenishment kit) was charged as scheduled leaving a balance of $90.75.

      Also on July 6th, your account was cancelled per your request.  Information was provided explaining the total cost of your 2nd shipment delivered in June, the June and July charges, and you were informed of the remaining payment scheduled for August 6th.    Please be advised that while cancelling an account stops all future shipments, it does not cancel the balance due for orders already shipped/delivered prior to cancellation; they will continue to bill until paid in full or are returned for credit within the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

      Although our records do not indicate that any returns have been received to present date, as a gesture of goodwill and in exception to our advertised policies, the remaining balance of $90.75 has been cleared.

      Your Meaningful Beauty account remains closed, with nothing further to be shipped or billed.

      Also, on April 12,2024, your account was canceled per your request.  Information was provided regarding the replenishment kit that had just shipped and the remaining two payments scheduled for May 13th and June 13th.   Please be advised that while cancelling an account stops all future shipments, it does not cancel the balance due for orders already shipped prior to cancellation;they will continue to bill until paid in full or are returned for credit within the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

      Since per your account no returns have been received, the remaining two payments were charged as scheduled; $91.73 on May 13th and $91.75 on June 13th at which time your account balance was paid in full.

      Please be advised that our records do not reflect any calls received from the phone number provided with your order (and this complaint), nor any other contact received in reference to your account since April 12, 2024.  We regret that at this time the 60-day Money Back Guarantee for your 2nd shipment has expired (June 12th) and it is no longer eligible for return or refund.

I can never seem to get a hold of them and emailed them multiple time. I did not approve to continue to take my money out of my acct. I want a refund/ release money back to me asap .

Also, at the time of purchase, customers are provided the option to either begin with the standard introductory 30-Day Entry supply or a full-sized 90-Day supply.  At the time of your initial purchase, the option to begin with a 90-day supply was selected. We regret if it was not your intent to accept this offer.

      On May 1, 2024, your initial order (a full-size 7-piece 90-day kit) was sent for a total of $191.57 (including $11.69 FL Sales Tax) to be billed in 3 installments over 31-day billing cycles.  The 1st installment of $63.96 was charged at this time leaving a balance of $127.71.

      On May 13, 2024, your account was canceled per your request.  Please be advised that while cancelling an account stops all future shipments, it does not cancel the balance due for orders already shipped prior to cancellation;they will continue to bill until paid in full or are returned for credit within the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee. 

      On May 15th, we received your call inquiring about the balance.  Information was provided explaining the total cost of your order and the three installments.  We regret to learn that this call ended before any resolution could be offered. 

      On June 1, 2024, we attempted to process your 2nd installment of $63.86 as scheduled but the request for payment was declined by your credit card leaving a remaining balance of $127.71 due and payable. At this time the auto past due billing process was activated to send monthly notices advising of the balance.   

      As a gesture of goodwill (in exception to our advertised guarantee policy) the remaining balance of $127.71 has been cleared.

      Your Meaningful Beauty account remains closed, with nothing further to be shipped.

      They place the ** ad with all the promos and deals the seven piece kit was $49 please see attached screenshots I originally sent with cancel at any time however they are saying it's x amount of dollars with three installment monthly payments I never agreed or signed up for any of that I got the ** deal was a seven-piece kit one time only $49 cancel any time that is what I agreed to that is what I signed up for that is what I bought and paid for I am not going to allow these people to scam me out of my money see the attached screenshots of the original complaint

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      However I just want to bring to your attention that they say I upgraded I did not upgrade anything meaningful beauty took it upon their self to upgrade my order and then try to charge me for it The bottles are small they are not large or full size what I bought and paid for supposedly was the ** offer and then for being one of the first 500 callers I received the two-piece extra Dr ***** and then there was also a safe 10% promo code bringing the total of the $49.99 with free shipping however I wound up paying ************************************************************************************* consent I'm glad this you were involved and this matter is resolved thank you for all your help meaningful beauty is not a good company

      I ordered the sample ( order #********) from the ** Advertisement in May 2024 and paid via Paypal $49.45. Not signing up for any membership or continued shipments known to me.On June 16, 2024 I called them when a shipping email was received, I told them I did not order anything else when they mentioned this membership. I instructed them firmly to Cancel any membership and not to send any other products with a refund on any further ********. On June 17, 2024 I got a confirmation email stating this exact thing except any refund if needed.On June 19, 2024 I got an email saying a shipment was on it's way, receiving it on June 24, 2024. I "returned it to sender" at the **** local Office on June 25, 2024, I was auto billed via Paypal for $53.94 of which I was able to have Paypal refund. However, on July 2, 2024 I was billed as "Past Due" the amount of $161.00 in a billing statement. There is no reason for any amount due from me, as any shipments sent out were after my *************************** from this company. This is nothing more than a system signing buyers up for unwanted or approved memberships and then continuing to ship unauthorized shipments for the purpose of monetary gains. I would like any "Past Due" amount to be immediately cleared and any negative credit reporting removed. Also insuring this account is closed with no continuing issues.

      Also,on June 17, 2024, your account was canceled per your request.  Information was provided about the remaining balance and return instructions.  Please be advised that while cancelling an account stops all future shipments, it does not cancel the balance due for orders already shipped prior to cancellation;they will continue to bill until paid in full or are returned for credit within the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

      On June 18th, we received your inquiry regarding a return label. As a courtesy (and exception to our advertised return policy) a request for a prepaid return label was submitted for review.  The label was issued and sent via **** on June 19, 2024.

      On June 20, 2024, PayPal reversed the first payment $53.94 for your 2nd shipment. While this chargeback created a credit in your favor with your financial institution, it restored the full amount of $161.82 as due and payable.  At this time the auto past due billing process was activated to send monthly notices advising of the balance.

      On July 2, 2024, your 2nd shipment was processed as returned at our facility, within the 60-Day Money Back Guarantee, at which time a credit was issued which cleared the balance due of $161.82 and stopped the monthly billing notices.  Since only one notice was issued no late payment was reported against your credit history.

      Your Meaningful Beauty account remains closed, with nothing further to be shipped.

      Meaningful Beauty is misleading customers and overcharging. I became a new customer 02/2024 and received my introductory order., which was paid in full at the time of the order. The invoice I received with my introductory order stated in part that my account would be charged in 3 convenient installments of $79.95 approximately every 4 weeks for a total of $239.85. With taxes included, I was charged $91.73. When the 1st installment came out of my account on 4/8/24, I called Meaningful Beauty for clarification on the installment and was told by a lady in customer service that I would be charged for three months as the invoice stated and that would be good for one year. So, 4/8/24-1st installment of $91.73 was deducted from my account. 2nd installment of $91.73 deducted 5/6/24. 3rd installment of $91.75 was deducted on 6/6/24. So by the invoice, I should be done paying. Today, 7/2/24, another $91.73 was deducted from my account. Again, I called customer service and was told by a lady named *** that I would be charged $91.73 every month. I told her they need to be more specific on the invoice. I also asked to file a complaint and was put in eternal hold for a manager. After a twelve minute wait, *** returned on the call and said she would have the manager call me back. Still waiting on that call. I canceled my subscription and requested a refund and was told, I would receive a refund when the products were shipped back to them. I do not have the products yet. Im hoping they do not charge my account next month. I wonder if *************************** is aware of this fraudulent behavior by the company she advertises for.

      On April 4, 2024, your 2nd shipment, a full-size 90-day replenishment kit, was sent for a total of $275.21 (including $14.97 s&h plus $20.39 TX Sales Tax) to be billed in 3 installments over 31-day billing cycles.  The first installment of $91.73 was charged at the time of shipping.  The second installment of $91.73 was charged May 5th, leaving a balance of $91.75.

      On May 7, 2024, we received your inquiry about the billing.  We regret to learn that the information you were provided on this call was not correct and would like to apologize for any frustration this may have caused.

      On May 9, 2024, we received your additional call questioning the billing.  At that time the total cost of your 2nd shipment and the three scheduled payments was explained.  Information was provided regarding the 3rd payment scheduled for June 5th and the next shipment date of July 2, 2024, when another 90-day replenishment kit would be shipped and the billing cycle for the new shipment would begin.

      On June 5, 2024, the third installment of $91.75 for your 2nd shipment was charged as scheduled.

      On June 30, 2024, your 3rd shipment began processing for delivery, another full-size 90-day replenishment kit,was sent for a total of $275.21 (including $14.97 s&h plus $20.39 TX Sales Tax) to be billed in 3 installments over 31-day billing cycles.  We received an approved authorization from your credit card at this time for the 1st installment of $91.73.

      On July 2, 2024, the replenishment kit was shipped and the 1st installment of $91.73 was finalized as a charge leaving a balance of $183.48.

      Also,on July 2nd we received your call regarding the billing.  It was explained that the 3 previous charges were for your 2nd shipment and the recent charge was for this new shipment which should be delivered within 7- 10 business days.  Per your request your account was cancelled,and you were advised that a refund would be issued if the shipment was returned.   We regret to learn that your request for a callback from a supervisor was submitted incorrectly and never reached the support team.

       Please be advised that while cancelling an account stops all future shipments, it does not cancel the balance due for orders already shipped prior to cancellation.  They will continue to bill until paid in full or are returned for credit within the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

      I made a purchase of $49.95 for some cosmetics from Meaningful Beauty for my wife on April 12th, 2024. We were satisfied with this initial purchase. 33 days later, on May 15th, I noticed another charge on my bank account for $53.94. Soon after, another package arrived at our house from Meaningful Beauty. I refused the delivery and had the charge reversed. 30 days later, on June 14th, I saw another charge on my bank account from **********************. This time I called their **************** Line to sort things out. I was told I had signed up for a repeating 30 Day automatic reorder of products. I asked to cancel this "subscription" and remove the charge for ***** This was all handled as expected and I was not charged and did not receive any packages from them in ***** This week I received in the mail an invoice of $161.82 from Meaningful Beauty for a past due payment. I do not owe them anything and will not be paying. I would like them to cancel this invoice and reverse any late payment reporting them may have done, or will do, to the credit agencies.Just for clarification:*None of the emails I received nor the packing slip in the original order stated that I had signed up for automatic repeating shipments or any sort of "subscription".*At no point during the call into Meaningful Beauty Customer Support did anyone mention that I would owe anything more after the cancelation.*I believe the whole process from ordering the product on their website, to obscuring the "subscription" aspect on all the order paperwork, to the time and effort needed to call into customer support to deal with cancelation, is all intentional to trick people into paying more than they expect.

      We make every effort to be forthcoming regarding our promotions and offers for Meaningful Beauty via the website, TV infomercials, inbound sales phone line, print materials, product packaging and billing.  One-time purchases are available without automatic replenishment, but the one-time offers are only for individual items (not kits) and are only offered at retail pricing.  Customers that choose to purchase any of our introductory kit offers are informed that they will receive automatic replenishment shipments until they contact customer service to cancel or make changes to their membership.  The information is provided on our website before an offer is selected and in the shopping cart order summary- in bold print- prior to any personal information being entered.  Before customers may finalize their purchase, they must check a box that states: "By checking this box, you are electronically signing your order, agreeing to the terms above and to our general Terms & Conditions, including our no-commitment auto-replenishment program, and authorizing us to charge payments to the credit card you provide." Your authorization of future shipments and associated charges was provided by checking this box to complete your initial order.  The products are also shipped with information reiterating the terms and benefits of membership including the next scheduled shipment date.  

      More specifically the order summary for the offer you purchased states: One month after your first order is shipped, and then every three months thereafter, you will be sent a new full-size supply of Meaningful Beauty. Each shipment will be charged to the card you provide today, in three monthly payments at the low price of $49.95 plus $3.99 for shipping and handling per month, unless you go online or call to cancel. There is no commitment and no minimum to buy. All orders are subject to applicable sales tax.   We regret if you found the offer unclear in any way.

      On April 12, 2024, your initial order (a 30-day 5-piece introductory kit) was sent for a total of $49.95 which was charged in full at the time of shipping to the PayPal account provided.

      On May 15, 2024, per the terms of your purchase, your 2nd shipment (a full-size 90-day supply) was sent for a total of $161.82 (including $11.97 s&h) to be billed in 3 installments over 31-day billing cycles.  The 1st installment of $53.94 was charged at this time leaving a balance of $107.88.

      On June 4, 2024, your membership was cancelled per your request.  Information explaining the automatic shipments was provided.  You informed us that you had refused the 2nd shipment.  You were advised that no return had been received at that time, also that returning a product via "Return to Sender" without verifiable proof of mailing, oftentimes results in a package never being received back to our facility to process a return credit to clear any balance owed.  We regret to learn when reviewing your call that you were not informed of the remaining balance.  Please be advised that while cancelling an account stops all future shipments, it does not cancel the balance due for orders already shipped prior to cancellation;they will continue to bill until paid in full or are returned for credit within the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

      On June 6, 2024, PayPal reversed the payment $53.94 for your 2nd shipment. While this chargeback created a credit in your favor with your financial institution, it restored the full amount of $161.82 as due and payable.  At this time the auto past due billing process was activated to send monthly notices advising of the balance.

      On June 12th, your 2nd shipment was processed as returned at our facility, within the 60-Day Money Back Guarantee, at which time a credit was issued which cleared the balance due of $161.82 and stopped the monthly billing notices.  Since only one notice was issued no late payment was reported against your credit history.

      Your Meaningful Beauty account remains closed, with nothing further to be shipped.

      I saw an ad on tv for Meaningful Beauty and they had a deal to get two items free if you ordered for $49.95. I placed my ordered to try it out and then decided to cancel yesterday, 6/19/24. I was told I would have to pay $179 to cancel my subscription. The advertisement states you can cancel at any time and does not say anything about being charged. I did not understand why I was being charged to cancel so I asked to speak to a supervisor. A supervisor was not available so they took my information for a callback and I still have not heard back.

      Per tracking information (#**************************) **** attempted to deliver the shipment on June 10th and 11th but when unsuccessful it was returned to sender.

      On June 24, 2024, the shipment was processed as returned at our facility, within the 60-Day Money Back Guarantee, at which time a refund in the amount of $82.08 was issued.  Since this was an entry kit which included a subscription for replenishment shipments your account was inactivated stopping any future shipments.  Please allow 3 5 business days for the refund to post.

      On April 3, 2024, your initial order,a 30-day 5-piece introductory kit, was sent for a total of $54.54 (including $4.59 LA Sales Tax) which was charged in full at the time of shipping to the PayPal account provided.  Customers that choose to purchase any of our discounted introductory kit offers are informed that they will receive automatic shipments until they contact customer service to cancel or make changes to their membership. 

      On May 1, 2024, per the terms of your purchase, your 2nd shipment (a 90-day 5-piece replenishment kit) began processing for delivery as scheduled.  We received an approved payment authorization for the 1st installment of $91.51 from PayPal at this time.

      Your account was cancelled via an afterhours chat request received on May 2, 2024.  Please be advised, while cancelling an account stops all future scheduled shipments, it does not cancel an order that is already in process.  Orders that have already processed at the time of cancelation cannot be stopped; they will be shipped and will continue to bill until paid in full or are returned for credit within the 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee.  The replenishment kit was shipped that day and the previously authorized payment of $91.51 was finalized as a charge leaving a balance of $183. 05.

      On June 2, 2024, we attempted to process your 2nd installment of $58.91as scheduled but the request for payment was declined by PayPal leaving the remaining balance of $183.05 due and payable.  At this time the auto past due billing process was activated to send monthly notices advising of this balance.  

      When an account is cancelled it activates an immediate automated email confirming the cancellation.  We regret to learn that since your 2nd shipment was still in process at the time the automated system did not include the billing information for that order in the email confirmation.  We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
