Re: The Blind Guy ************ ***************************************************************** (SLB#****** Note: I texted my concerns to The Blind Guy representative/sales person *********************** on 8/23/22 at 1pm. No response as of 8/25/22 2:30pm To whom it may concern-While speaking with The Blind Guy representative/sales person *********************** on 7/13/22 I specifically asked for cordless blinds. In fact I said I really want cordless blindson three occasions. *********************** the representative/sales person told me about how poorly the components are in the blinds I was requesting and he would not recommend them . So not knowing about blinds and being the consumer I took Marks word that cordless blinds are no good. Disappointed, I chose the option **** was pushing. I gave a down payment of $1200 with a balance of $1135.While visiting a friends nice home I noticed their windows had the cordless blinds that I had requested and inquired about while meeting with ****. The blinds are over ten years old and still work perfectly. The brand is ****. Why was I not informed by **** that, in fact, the blinds I asked him for are available and are good quality?Issues: After raising and lowering ************/ horizontal blinds we feel that the blind and the blind design makes it impossible to lower and raise as directed by ****. Upstairs living room blinds:When pulling the cord we need to reach below our knees while supporting the middle of the blind this is not possible. Positioning hand above cord hold/knob causes child safety latch to come apart. The cord cuts into our fingers. When blind is lifted to the top, blind sags on both sides.Slats needing to be repositioned and re slotted by hand each time theyre lowered.Front door blind pull k*** reaches just 2 off the floor.
