      Project was from April-May 2023 - still not completed but full payment was provided to the business. I was quoted a flat rate and at the end of the project the business demanded more than the flat rate, not including materials. For example, the general contractor quoted a flat rate for labor ************** for a kitchen project. Once it was completed, he invoiced me for more than the flat agreed upon rate for both materials and labor. The general contractor did not finish the full project that was agreed upon and paid for. The general contractor demanded full payment prior to coming back to finish the project. He has since refused to come back to finish the project. I provided videos and pictures of the work that has not been completed and I am not happy with. The general contractor scratched the floors and did not attempt to resolve the issue. The general contractor did not complete the work to agreed upon expectations or industry standards and did not attempt to resolve the issue. Rather, he demanded full payment in a harassing manner via phone. The general contractor charged for third party work without prior consent or discussion. The contractor purchased materials of higher quality and price than we had agreed upon. Amount paid to the business was over $21,000 in cash. No receipt was provided at any point.
