      ON SEPTEMBER 12 2023 I PURCHASED A 2020 ***** CX5 FROM ELK GROVE HYUNDAI. THE PURCHASE PRICE WAS ********* AND THE THE ***** MANAGER ( ***) AGREED TO REPAIR A PAINT FLAW ON THE **** AS PART OF THE DEAL BECAUSE I wouldn't buy it without the repair. The sales manager (***) avoided my calls for a month before finally making an appointment for the repair. They did not complete the repair as agreed on (which is the only reason I agreed to the purchase) and now tell me that they will not. I would return the ***** except they stalled me for a month so that I am past the time allowed to do so. The sale was deceptive or at least the sales manager *** deceptive. I want the repair done or I want my money back in full.

      In response to ************************** complaint about painting a blemish on the **************** agreed to buff the hood as best as possible. We do not repair paint after a Pre owned vehicle comes out of our reconditioning center. The only case that this may happen is if the vehicle is a new vehicle in ************************** case he did purchase a pre owned ****** Attached is a Duebill of what work was owed to **********************. Which indicated Buff scratches. Out of good faith we had the entire vehicle buffed, not just the hood. Please let me know if you may have any further questions.

      ******** took my information over the phone to try and get me approved for a car. He said he got me approved for a car that I told him I didn't want and I let him know that. He told me to come in and he will get me in whichever one I want. I asked what was the approved purchase amount and APR and he said ***** at ****%, which to me was high. I went in and found the vehicle I wanted anyway which was about **** more. He came back with the amount to pay monthly and it was too much so I told him no thank you. They do what they normally do where they walk away, but I was telling him there shouldn't be any of that. The purchase price, the percentage rate and the total number of payments should determine the monthly amount. He came back and said he took a couple thousand off and gave me an amount that was still higher than I wanted but agreed to. My issue is I didn't have on my glasses and let them know I couldn't see. My gut told me to walk away and just come back but I didn't due to him saying some other woman was supposed to be in to get the truck that evening. He had me sign something saying he showed me the paper first and I said I'll sign but can't see what it says. I went through the signing process letting them know I couldn't see, but when we got to the part that said how much I would be paying back I asked if that was the amount and he brushed it off saying don't look at that amount especially if it is a mortgage. I feel they should have been obligated to tell me the breakdown since he knew I couldn't read what I was signing. He rushed me through the forms and several times I said I couldn't see. I found my glasses and saw *****%. I immediately called and was told it changed because it was a different vehicle. I told him I have the text messages where they provided me with the rate and should have told me if it changed. I thought I was being paranoid when signing but now see I was right. He knew I thought it was ****% percent and he knew i couldn't see it changed

      Hello,

      In regards to ************************* complaint, Originally she inquired about a 2023 ************** on 8/10/2023  which was on a Hyundai Motor finance Subvented rate program. We got her approved on that car and program for **** percent APR for 72 months and loan amount of $38,000. We followed up with her for a few days in regards to her loan and car. She then came in with her sister on 8/12/20203. She fell in love with the **** Hyudnai Santa **** which was on our showroom floor. We then let her know the car was more expensive and did not qualify for the Subvented apr Program. We got her approved on that car with Hyundai motor finance but in order to get close to the payment she wanted to be at we had to go longer on the term which was 84 months. She agreed to the payments and when her and her sister went into the finance department she did say she couldn't see and the finance manager offered her an extra pair of reading glasses so she could review all the paperwork before she signed and took delivery of the vehicle. She came out of the finance department excited and happy. A manger followed up with her on 8/13/2023 we followed up with her and she was still happy as can be. On 8/15/2023 we followed up again with her and she was angry we offered her to come down to go over everything again she then hung up on the manager and led to this complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because: You knew I would read the response and still lied like that??? That lets me know you really did know what you were doing and were intentional. You did not tell me anything about it being higher interest rate. You told me to come in and you will make it work to get me in whatever vehicle I wanted. When ****** came out and told me the amount at first I said no let's look for a less expensive car. I wasn't going to do it no matter how much I loved the vehicle . You got up went back in there came back like you took $2,000 off the price to get it down. You told me a new amount which was still higher than I wanted to pay but never once did you mention that the percentage rate and things were higher. I still have the text message about telling you the Sonata is the one car I told you I did not want. So all of these lies you need to stop. You even went as far as to tell me every few months to come in there and get $60 did you or did you not ******? You guys are horrible, unethical, dishonest, human beings who will hopefully get back what you do to others. Oh and when I spoke to the other sales manager *** and was all upset, I was the one who called him after finding my glasses and seeing what the interest rate and the amounts really were. I hung up after he told me there was nothing that I could do and that I couldn't return the vehicle. Did I need to stay on the phone longer to listen to you people. Oh and *** did you go over the interest rate or the amounts when I mentioned them when you were having me sign the stuff did you say anything about the amounts? Or when I mentioned or ask is that the total amount that I'm paying back did you brush me off as I said? I would love to take a polygraph test but I'm quite sure you'll have the excuse oh they're not admissible you liar.

      ************************************************ and foremost we are not liars, I can understand your frustration but there is no need for name calling. Secondly we cannot adjust the rate as mentioned before, the original vehicle ******* LImited) was on a special APR program for the **** APR. We did tell you that and that the rate was higher. There is nothing we can do to adjust the rate or price of the car, the car loan is finalized and you loved the vehicle and payment when you left the dealership.

      We need Hyundai to send diagnostic report error for the air conditioner Assuriant warranty company so our car can be fixed. They are not being compliant. My warranty company is Assuriant *********** and they are awaiting a call from Hyundai for weeks now. Can you please assist us? This has been very stressful.

      We called the extended warranty company to see if they would cover damage to the vehicle and they requested pictures. The customer is bringing the vehicle in 7-28-23 to take pictures and send to the warranty company.

      My name is *************************** I am the General Sales Manager at Elk Grove Hyundai,

      I am writing in regards to ********************* Complaint. He states that my dealership over charged him for Lojack and other items applied to the vehicle. However this statement is not true, My dealership never charged him for Lojack or other Items if needed I can provide the retail installment contract reflecting no such items were ever charged. The only extra item that was charged was GAP insurance for 895 which he agreed to because he signed all the documents associated with the vehicle purchase pertaining to GAP insurance. There were no documents regarding him purchasing Lojack or any other extra items. In fact Lojack was given to ****************** with the full functionality and access at no charge. 

      In regards to ********************** financing we never ran his credit. He said he was financing through his credit union MOCSE ************* We did everything he asked in regards to his financing options.

      Attached is a screenshot of us talking to his credit union regarding his financing. We also have text messages in regards to his financing options letting him know that he was responsible for getting it situated.

      I have credit reports received from the dealership with the same date as my vehicle purchase. If my credit was not ran, why was I given 3 credit reports addressed from Elk Grove Hyundai. I also have an email I received stating that there was a "Non-Refundable Deposit" which is illegal. On the 'Itemized Amount Financed' form it states that the cash price of the vehicle with accessories is $55,145.00. When we ordered the vehicle, we agreed upon an MSRP of $53,685.00 including only the requested accessories. There was an additional $1,460.00 added to the vehicle cash price for accessories that were not approved or requested.

       

      The portal is not allowing me to upload any attachments to submit, I can provide documents reflecting the information above if requested.

      ************** don't have any records of the the stated amounts you are saying. The records that I do have reflect the selling price of 55145.00. 

      If there was such a huge discrepancy in the price why didn't you bring it up at the time of delivery? Why did you move forward with the purchase of the vehicle? 

      We never put pressure on anyone to purchase a vehicle you could have easily stopped the process if this was the case and the pricing was truly not what was agreed upon.
