      We do not get good cell reception because we are so close to the Mountains. The Life alert personnel was very patient and very helpful as I had to go 3 blocks to get close to a cell tower so to get a good signal. We were able to complete the job and get a dispatcher from Life Alert. The customer service person was very helpful and kind during the process.

      Got this product for my mother when she was dealing with cancer, we paid for a years subscription. Sadly she died a month later, I followed all their steps returning the equipment etc, she had paid with a card thru her bank that was cancelled upon her death, so no refund was ever given. They only have a 90 day window for refunds so they kept $800

      My mother contacted them for a brochure. She was treated poorly by the sales agent and convinced to sign up for a plan even though she told him she could not afford it. When she called 3 hours later to cancel, he told her the office was closing and that he couldn't talk to her. She called the next morning, and left a message, and did not receive a phone call back. We called 2 days later, and we were told someone would call the next day. They did not. I finally got a hold of someone, and we told them we wanted to cancel. They had the unopened equipment box picked up. I called 3 separate times over the next week to the billing department to get a refund, and when I finally asked to speak to a manager, I was told it was non-refundable. My mother advised that she was not advised that it was non-refundable by the initial sales person. I explained that she tried to cancel before it was shipped out and that no one would talk to her. They did not seem to care about this, or the fact that my elderly mother was taken advantage of. The billing manager advised me that they have nothing to do with the sales department, so she could not help with that. Eventually, they agreed to return $200 and would keep the $50 as a "restocking fee", which is ridiculous. This company's customer service is horrible, and for a company whose whole purpose is helping elderly people, they don't seem to care about them.
