  I told the employee I wanted to purchase enough silver so I didn't have to pay taxes. She told me the amount and I purchased the amount she recommended. Later she tells me I have to pay taxes when I sell or use the silver. I was told incorrect information. I sent several emails to the owner asking for help. I did not get a response.

  We take customer satisfaction seriously and have performed a rigorous review of our records and correspondence with this client. The client asked what dollar amount was required to be exempt from taxation and our Sales Associate provided that information. After being told, the client elected to purchase the precious metals in that amount and paid no taxes on the transaction. We found no evidence that our Sales Associate was anything other than transparent, professional and correct at all stages of the transaction. Further, we found that there was no discussion or dialog concerning the taxes upon sale or use of the precious metals and do not know what the client is referring to. 
  
  While we maintain our position, we take customer service seriously and have attempted to contact the client. We have yet to hear back from her, but are hopeful we be given the opportunity to demonstrate our desire to make her experience a positive one if she does.
  
  Regarding the emails to the owner of NGI, we were unable to locate any communication between the client and the owner of NGI. If the client could provide copies of the communications, or dates of the same, we would be happy to investigate further.

  I am rejecting this response because:  Transparency?  As a precious metal company based in **********, I would think they would know what the *******************'s minimum dollar requirements are when customers are purchasing precious metals to help customers avoid paying state taxes.  I am sure they get the question all the time from their customers about state taxes.  In 2023, Initially, I was told $1,500, then I was told later $1,500.01 is the minimum, which is it?  Is it $2,000?  I wanted them to respond in an email **** phone call.

  The information provided by Sales Associate can be found at ******************************************************. It states that after January 1, 2009 and before January 1, 2023, the amount of purchase in a single transaction is exempt if it is $1,500 or more. If after January 1, 2023, that amount is $2,000.
