In 2023, 26 people in *******, ******, ********, and ******** purchased an all-inclusive tour package to ****** with Gama Tours for $ ***** from December 1-12, 2023. Tour participants paid Gama Tours $***** for hotel accommodations, airfare, tour guides, and some meals. *****************************, a Gama Tour representative (primary tour contact), explained that $250 was nonrefundable if we canceled or *************** canceled. See the ************** Proposal.However, on October 9, 2023, with the civil unrest in ****** and the ******************************* sending out warnings about travel to ******, I sent a letter to **** and ********************** our tours. We have not received reciept of the remaining $750. Please see the letter below, dated October 9, 2023, requesting a refund. October 9, 2023 Gama Tours ATTN ******************* ************************************************************* Dear Yael:I am writing this email on behalf of myself, ***********************, ***********************************************************************, **************, ************************** and the following St. Mark *************************************** members: Jennietene ****** ******************************************************************************* ************** ************************** ***************************** ************************************************************************ Our group information was registered through ***************************** Tour Group/ Gama Tours out of *************, ********. This email serves as written notification that due to the civil unrest and the ****************** closing flights in and out of ******, we want our registrations and flights cancelled for the trip to ****** December 1-12, 2023. We are requesting full refunds and do not want our monies allocated for a 2024 tour. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.We have repeatedly contacted ************** via telephone, email, and text message at ************** to request the additional refunds we are due, but she has not responded. An immediate refund is requested.
