D and D Financial Processing called my mom's job on Valentine's **** Upon returning the call they alleged that I owed money to a Payday loan company that someone got in my name. When I asked who the individual was they stated she wouldn't give her name but they stated that I would pay according to their investigation. I wanted to consult with an attorney to ensure they were legitimate and they said that I needed to resolve matter ASAP or that it would go to the county for prosecution because the female individual borrowed 300 or more dollars and I would have to pay $3800 unless I agreed to pay $795. They were given information and I advised them to cancel transaction that was given because my mom didn't know they were fraudulent. They were supposed to return call next day February 15 and reverse payment at 10 am but no one called. I went to my bank to inform them what happened. It was still pending and plus I put in a stop payment only to find out today that they processed the payment anyway. Ms. *************************** stated that she would get with Ms. *** in accounting. That she was going to refund the money. I requested documents to give to my attorney for review. Also, informed them that they were not listed on BBB. They suggested they you all don't have everyone listed. They refused documents and ********** sent a receipt stating monies were refunded but no transaction was made to my account. Not even in pending status. Please inform me whether this company is legitimate.
