May 25, 2021, I contracted We Build San Diego with a deposit of $1,000.00 to install a patio cover which was to be installed by the end of June 2021. July the patio was not installed and no work was done. After sever calls, I was told by ************************* that he did not have the supplies to do the job and wasn't sure when of IF he would have them until after September and he wasn't sure if he would have them then to which I replied in that case and with this information I wanted the contract cancelled and my deposit returned. ***** informed me to leave the contract in place so he would not have to charge me more if he got the material. I said NO, just cancel and return my deposit. He snapped at me saying PUT IT IN WRITING..!Business response

Upon ordering the door for ********************** project, she paid a $1,000.00 deposit. After the initial order, our vendor Amerimax (Alumawood) notified us that there was a supply chain delay due to COVID-19. We communicated the delay to ****************** in July and she acknowledged. On July 29th, the vendor informed us that the product was "on a production hold for the shortage of materials." At that time, we once again communicated this info to the customer. She decided to cancel her order. We requested that she put it in writing to properly document the cancellation (which we received on August 7th). She asked for her deposit back plus interest. We sent a check for $1,100.00 ($1,000.00 deposit plus $100.00 interest) that was delivered to her on August 18th via certified mail. Please see the attached documents supporting our position. We respectfully request this issue be marked as resolved and removed from our account due to swiftly resolving the issue with the customer before the complaint was actually filed.

Yes, I did get a refund check from We Build San Diego for the contract to install an
exterior patio cover...only...there were no door or doors needed, just a simple installation with a cover and as originally requested without any intimidation from We Build San Diego
return my deposit and void and cease and desist any furute contact with me and I no longer needed their service for any reason they no longer exist for my needs.
Thanks for your assistance and this case for me is closed and void of We Build San
Diego.
