              Called plumber for estimate on changing shower cartridge due to inactivity and slow flow. They would not provide an estimate over the phone although others in our condo with same work order were quoted $300 and the work was complete in about 30 minutes. The plumber arrived and quoted $575. We said that was really high, and we would call other plumbers. My husband was bullied by the plumber into accepting the work. He discounted the job to $500. My husband called the owner and asked for a reduction in price commensurate with the cost of the part and the duration of the job (30 minutes). He laughed at my husband and replied it was too late, he paid, signed on the dotted line and good luck getting any money back. This relates to invoice number ********. We are attempting to invoke the 72-hour cancellation and have sent a letter to the business, as such. Thank you for any assistance. We fear this company is taking advantage of elder folks and price gouging.

              This business overcharged for a basic service. $500 for a 30 plumber service call and a shower cartridge is excessive. When the technician left I felt I was overcharged and did a little research, turns out I was. I spoke with the manager / owner on the phone and asked for a price adjustment to a reasonable price ($280) and he literally laughed and said good luck with that. This business takes advantage of customers by not providing a fair price for services rendered.
