I had a facial at this place on a ******** coupon. After the service was over, I was taken to the office of the Nurse and was told that a series of services would help my skin. I was not told the extent of the services, what they would be doing, or how much time would be needed for recovery. I was told that all of their services were non-invasive and safe. I was sold a package of services, and it was charged on my credit card. Upon returning home, I did some research on the type of service they sold me. I found out that it is a serious treatment that must be performed by a nurse. There is a 3-7 day recovery period in which your skin is super red, inflamed and sore. I was not told any of this at the time. I was told that it was a simple procedure. I immediately phoned the business and told them I wanted to cancel due to the severity of the treatment. This is when I noticed the small print on the form I signed that demands there be no refunds. This is unethical due to the fact that they misrepresented the treatment I thought I was getting and failed to inform me of the severity. They refused to refund my money and said they would give me a series of very expensive facials instead. Triple the price of the facial that I had originally had. Then the nurse named ***** got very rude and argumentative with me. I refused to continue the conversation. This company is unethical. Did not verbally inform me there was no refund and did not inform of the severity of the treatment. Had they been honest, I would never have agreed to the contract.
