    Due to the business putting in the wrong oil in my car, my vehicle has now blown. The oil rings has lost oil consumption lost fuel mileage. The business lied to me. I told them 040 synthemedic. They put 520 blend in my car. My car cannot take this in which has now caused a Severe damage to my car oil is now blowing past the pistons. I have been having this issue since I had another business. Change it out the oil. This business had my car for over 5 hours to do an oil changeas well. As other services that were not completed , they were going to keep my car overnight for a simple oil change that they didn't even put the right oil in. It took them all day to figure out where my ********** was for my a car and because I decided to go get my car in fear of what was going on with it. They waited until 5 PM at night to drain the oil and say they were going to keep my car overnight. Night. I've been so afraid that they were going to do something to my car that I went and picked it up. They kept things there that I had supplied in which I had to have my boyfriend pickup the next day. I am going to have to replace the engine in my car due to them. Putting the wrong oil in my car.

    GOOD NEWS:In the matter of Old Town Auto Service versus the individual [*** K], the State of ********************** of ************************ of ********** Repair has found the charges against it in my complaint filed on Dec 14th, 2021, CASE #HA2021-16171, HAVE BEEN UPHELD. SPECIFICALLY, THE STATE OF ********************* OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, BUREAU OF AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR AGREES THAT I WAS RIPPED-OFF BY THIS BUSINESS. YaY!!!An Investigator from the ****** of ********** Repair paid a surprise visit to this business in April of 2022 and asked to speak with the owner(s) and informed them that the manner and business of how they practice automotive repair was under investigation. In a nutshell--this business does the following: PADS THE **** THEIR MECHANICS ACTUALLY SPEND WORKING ON CUSTOMER VEHICLES. This of course increases costs to the Customer(s).More specifically, these are the charges I wrote in my complaint to the *** that this business was found to have perpetrated: 1} Failure to display mechanics hourly ($$) labor rate in the customer area and entrance to the business. 2} Failure to acknowledge to customer the price quoted for work requested was in fact the mechanics hourly rate and that customer would in fact incur an hours worth of labor whether it was warranted or not. 3} Failure of mechanic to contact customer prior to performing additional work that was not asked for, nor as it turned out, was found to be justified doing.4} Failure of mechanic to properly document how much time was actually spent inspecting my vehicle.It stands to reason that thanks to the Corona-Virus Pandemic and this business lost a certain amount of income during its tenure over the past two years. Sad as this may be though, the owner(s) course of action to DEFRAUD customers to make up for this lost income is certainly NOT JUSTIFIED. Other businesses went out of business during the Pandemic and perhaps this one should have as well.
