I am a blind retired university professor, and I have been taken advantage of by ****'s furniture. ****'s apparently has no valid business license with the state, and the owner ************************* is currently hiding from the *** and FTB.On July 5 2022, I went to Vern's Furniture and Appliance and purchased a new GE refrigerator, and I paid in full with a check. On July 7 ****'s delivered and installed the new refrigerator. One of the levelling wheels broke off during the delivery, and had to be replaced. The next week, the freezer handle fell off. ****'s sent out a repairman to repair both issues. The following week, the handle fell off again. This happened 6 times, and on the last visit the repairman told me that the entire front of the freezer needed to be replaced. I asked ****'s to take the refrigerator back as a textbook lemon claim, and they refused. They would not replace the refrigerator and referred me to **************** to file for a warranty replacement. I have called GE 6 times and waited on hold for hours, and never once managed to speak to a single person. I doubt that GE even knows ****'s is a reseller, which is why they refuse to exchange the faulty refrigerator. Since they are operating illegally in ********** since 2017, I don't think they should be allowed to sell anything at all.Initial Complaint

I sent a message earlier just making sure u received it I bought a refrigerator from verns it was broke when ***** delivered it inward the delivery guys in the truck brake it nowhere blaming it on me I gave 8 witness that seen it broken my kitchen now ***** want me to pay for the fridge I gave back please let me k ow I'm atthe rightplace and u received it please ********** is my number
