I called Ford on February 2nd, 2023 to order a piece of door trim for my ford explorer. They asked what part and i told them it was a piece of door trim they asked for my card number before ordering it and i gave it to him, he said it would be on its way and hung up. He did not confirm the amount of money to be charged, he did not tell me the price of the part. I called back and enquired what the price was he told me the piece of door trim was going to be 335 dollars for the piece of trim which when ordering brand new and online was 130 bucks. I requested that he cancel the order immediately and he said that he canceled the order. I came back later for a diagnosis on a different piece of trim for the same ford and asked a manager there how long before they credit my account. They said 7-10 business days and if it didn't credit to my account to call my bank. I ended up having to call my bank and challenge the charge. I was notified today that ford had told my bank that the charge was legitimate. This is now several trips of trying to get a refund for a part that i never received that i ordered through another company and have the receipt for. So there is no signature that i have received the part, there was never any part ordered because the order was canceled and they are still acting as if the charge is legitimate. The part they put in and charged me to put in was a part i ordered. Now this is hours of my time, to try and get back or defend charges that were made without verifying whether i accepted them, without telling me the price and now with wasting hours of my time. Not only this but the place the supposedly replaced is loose again and nearly snapped off the door when driving. I have had yet again to resort to duct tapping this pieces of trim down. So 335 for a piece i never got, 135 for the piece i ordered and 130 for an hour of work to install said piece, nearly 600 dollars and nothing accomplished. Completely ridiculous.
