      I had a horrible enduring squeaking that went on in my very nice Maytag Washing machine. I had an extended warranty and they sent out Lake Appliance Repair. OMG!!!!! The guy called after my appointment time of a 4-hour window was exhausted only to tell me he would be late.When he arrived he was not pleasant and only complained about his last service call and the bad customer contact. RED FLAG #2 He began to work on my machine and accused me of overloading my machine and told me a part appeared to be broken. (I live alone and rarely fill my washing machine to even make it worth DOING A LOAD OF LAUNDRY). I told him EXACTLY when the horrid squeaking would go on and he said HE COULDNT WAIT for that cycle (approx. ***** minutes) and said for me to just call back if the noise was still present. I gave him a tip since he replaced a part, and after he left I quickly ran some rags through a wash cycle, only to find the HORRID SQUEAKING CONTINUED THROUGH THE ENTIRE CYCLE. I called the company back since there were 4-5 hours left in the Technicians work day and the company said that I would have to call the warranty company and have them open a NEW SERVICE TICKET FOR A LATER TIME. When I insisted that the technician did not even fix my problem in the FIRST SERVICE TICKETthey said they couldnt change the procedure! Now I am soooooo mad beyond words. Even when I explained that I would have to take more time off without pay, they did not care. But I am CERTAIN THAT THEY ARE MAKING MORE MONEY FOR THE NEXT SERVICE CALL JUST IN THE RESPONSE TO START. I made a new appointment with my Maytag *************** and DEMANDED that I not have LAKE APPLIANCE REPAIR come back to do my service as it was a miserable and extremely disappointing company with NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. If my technician did NOT HAVE TIME TO WITNESS MY WASHING MACHINE, HOW ON EARTH CAN HE FIX THE *** GONE THING? Oh he said he was only on the job for 4 MONTHS.

      ******* stove from Lowes warranty sent this company for repair and been a complete disaster it seen that they don't care about the customers if you ever need a repair don't use this company for sure unless you want to wait months for repair.

      Maytag warranty repair sent this company out. The wash machine is less than 6 months old. I bought it brand new from Lowes. They did an evaluation in June determined drum was bent and not turning. They order parts. Two weeks later came out and replaced water pump to soap drawer. This had nothing to die with bent drum. Called Maytag and complained Lske did not repair the bent drum. So they came back out and order a new drum. Returned 2 weeks latter. The drum was damaged. Tech said he would order a new part. Two weeks later the came to house. No part. Lake forgot to order the part so then will order another new part. I have taken off work three time with lost wages. I also have to go laundry mate each week. With my large family this is costing me $60 a week. Now 8 weeks ********* machine and still going to laundry mate. I am out $250 for laundry mate and almost $1,000 in lost wages. Thank guys great service. Also *************** has been hard to work with.

      Shady business practices, borderline extortion. Unreliable, unresponsive, overpriced by almost 2x. Aggressive and confrontational staff. This company seriously needs to be investigated.

      Poor customer service. Does not show up as promised. Lies about reason for not showing up. Is the only repair service for Whirlpool appliance in the ********** Area.

      This company was assigned by my appliance warranty center to repair my refrigerator. I filed this claim June 1, 2022. I cannot tell you how many hours I have spent on the phone with this company checking to make sure that my scheduled date (today) was still on the books (5 separate calls) all saying yes they will be there. I tried to call today just because i was worried they wouldn't show..I could not get a live person AT ALL, and the phone after you hold for `15 mins just disconnects. I did this 6 times. I tried pressing other **** buttons just a loop of frustration. No return calls when you leave a message, they say to text to a number and then never reply. They never showed today after I called 5 times to verify they were coming. Took a day off work and sat here, they told my warranty company they were not a warranty repair place when they told me personally they were. I am beyond saddened by how bad customer service has gotten when you pay for something even. If you need an appliance repaired, go anywhere else this place will disappoint on every level.

      NEVER USE LAKE APPLIANCE REPAIR!!!!!On May 26, 2022 I scheduled an appointment through the Whirlpool website to have my dryer repaired. It was not under warranty so I knew I'd have to pay for a service / repair fee (totally fine). My repair was confirmed for June 1, 2022 with a repair window of 8am-4pm. On the day of my scheduled repair (June 1, 2022) at 10:48am I received an email from Lake Appliance repair "REQUIRING payment of the service charge PRIOR to routing the technician to my home. If payment was not received prior to the appointment they would CANCEL my visit". Mind you this email was sent at 10:48am on the day of my confirmed appointment. I was not going to pay $140 up front as I did not find this to be fair because I hadn't even received a call with an ETA of when the repair person was going to be at my home for the repair. Starting at 11am I called Lake Appliance to request an ETA and to discuss this email and payment. No answer, no return call, no text message. That is until 11:32am I finally got someone to respond to me and answer the line. At that time, I asked for an ETA as to when the repair person would be at my home and to see if I could pay 1/2 of the $140 to dispatch the repair person and I'd pay the other 1/2 upon arrival.Response: NO UNFORTUNATELY we cannot do that. We have to have payment in full before we can dispatch the repair person to your home. And because you did not respond to our (10:38am) email with payment, the repair person WILL NOT be coming to your home today. The next time we can dispatch someone is going to be June 21, 2022! First of all I cancelled plans and scheduled my day so that I can be present for this appointment. Not only did they not call me to give me an ETA, I had to call them! They slap me with a payment email demanding payment BEFORE they can dispatch someone. Then they tell me because I didn't pay they are not coming and will not come till June 21, 2022. UNACCEPTABLE!

      A man from Lake Appliance called from Modesto, Roseville office and demanded $150. credit card payment today over the phone for a scheduled repair visit on April 12, 2022. I refused to give him my credit card and said I would pay on the day of the repair visit. He said he was cancelling the visit if I did not pay today, I emailed them and cancelled the visit and told them I'm filing a complaint with BBB and Consumer affairs. I spoke to them on March 31, 2022 and could not get the appointment until April 12, 2022, This is fraud. Lake Appliance was referred by Maytag who I have waited on hold for 1.5 hours to get a person to talk to. I have had other Appliance repaired and they always collect the day of service. I have never paid upfront before, I was appalled they would even ask, This is not the way to do business. I would never do business with this company. I will be putting this on Social media also not to do business with them, Garnet *****

      I have been repeatedly harrassed by Lake Appliances via calls, texts, and emails regarding appointments for services I have not scheduled. I explained to their technician that the initial problem I had with my Frigidaire oven had been resolved by the superintendent who works for the builder in the development in which I live on January 11, 2022. He removed the faulty range and gave me a working range from one of the model homes. I explained all of this to a Lake Appliance technician who repeatedly called me one day regarding service, I explained it to another employee at Lake Appliance when I called the business, and I explained it to Frigidaire. This still didn't resolve the problem. I've gotten calls, texts, and emails regarding appointments I never scheduled for repairs on a dishwasher. I never had a problem with my dishwasher and never contacted anyone regarding it. My name is being attached to repair services for other people who bought homes from the same builder I purchased my home from. I cannot seem to get anyone to understand that I am not the person they should be contacting for the repairs. I have given Fridgidaire the builder's name and phone number as well as the superintendent's name, yet, Lake Appliance continues to call, text, and email me repeatedly every month. As far as I'm concerned, this is harassment, and I want it to stop.

      Their Service is horrible.We called them through ****** for a repair on our Whirlpool refrigerator and it took almost 2 weeks before they could come to repair it, or so we thought. They came on Tuesday 8/24 and really didn't do anything. He said he had to order parts- new icewmaker and some kind of wireing harness. Had to wait another week for him to come back and install the parts.He put them in and said it's all fixed. Fridge started getting cold but icemaker didn't put out a single cube. At least it worked somewhat before he repaired it, but not any more. I called Lake Appliance back and told them it still didn't work and could they wouldn't send him back, they said I had to call ****** back to start a second service call for the repair they failed to fix on the first one. So I called ****** back all over again and got the service call approved and called Lake back. Left messages allday Wednesday- no response. I called back early Thursday 8/2/21 and left a couple of messages before I finally got a hold of them. I told them I got the ok from ****** and needed the tech to come back.They first said it would be after the Labor day holiday, but I persisted and the tech came back Thursday afternoon 8/2/21. He played with it for awhile and then said it was fixed and it should start making ice. NOPE. No ice Nothing. I called Lake appliance back and they wouldn't help. Said I had to call ****** back to get an OK for them to come out to repair what they didn't fix on the first 2 times they came out. POOR WORKMANSHIP, POOR ATTITUDE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN MY HOME AGAIN. They make you give them a star rating, zero stars is not accepted and 1 star is too high for the service that they provide. Do your homework before letting them in your home.

      Lake Appliance told me on one of many calls to them that they record the calls. Get them and let's hear me "Cussing" at your call ********** won't find any with me "Cussing" at anyone. Your word is just as reliable as your repair service.
