      I purchased 2 vouchers from Groupon as birthday gifts for my daughters. One was purchased on Oct 9, 2021 and the other one on Nov 17, 2021. This business owner redeemed the first voucher on Oct 13, 2021 which then showed Groupon as services rendered but it was not. The appointment was scheduled for Feb 2, 2022 but the business owner cancelled it on her own thru her website. Claims that the appointment was never confirmed but thats not true. The voucher purchased on Nov 17, 2021 was showed redeemed on Dec 15, 2021 but again services were not rendered. That appointment kept being rescheduled from the business owners website without my daughters being notified. After numerous times of trying to use these vouchers, I decided not to use her services and requested a refund from both Groupon and the business owner. But Groupon will not refund me because the vouchers show redeemed and the business owner will not inform Groupon that the have not been used. I have attached reviews from previous Groupon users that had the same problem. This business owner is not cooperating and has already received her payment from Groupon. I will also be filing a complaint against Groupon.

      We have a strict cancellation policy which is listed on the home page of the website when proceeding to book your appointment and completing forms clients are agreeing to all terms and conditions. All appointments must be confirmed 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time or it will be assumed that the customer is cancelling. The appointment is canceled and a cancellation fee is required to be paid before the client is allowed to book any additional appointments. It is also listed on the website that no cash refunds are given. In consideration of certain circumstances refunds are issued in the form of a credit to the customers account to be used at a later time or a gift card to be used by the client or given as a gift to another individual. In regards to this specific client there have been numerous events that have taken place including but not limited to the violation of the terms and conditions. Vouchers were redeemed in accordance with Groupon use policy. This customer and her daughters have been taunting and harassing the business owner on multiple multiple occasions through phone calls, voicemails, texts and multiple social media platforms. The business owner has chosen to cut all communication with this consumer for these reasons.

      Please see attached screenshot. It clearly shows that the customer ****************** did indeed see the confirmation request and did not confirm. It shows sent and opened by the customer.

      I am rejecting this response because: ******* got the reminder and confirmed it!! and that's why it says "add to calendar" Where is the email saying it was cancelled? Why would she show up if she knew it was cancelled? Either way, we are not comfortable in retaining services from you so just give Groupon back the $78 and be done with it. Is it really worth the battle? This whole experience has been very unsatisfactory.
