On May 4, 2022 I purchased a used treadmill from this location for ******. We were told there was a 2 year warranty on the product. Last fall, the belt started slipping and when we were in the store in December, I inquired about the warranty. The clerk showed me how to tighten the belt which I did and it worked for a while but then started slipping worse. I contacted Play It Again Sports on March 13, 2023 to inquire about further assistance with the issue and was told to send an email and someone would get back to me. I sent the email the same day. After numerous (>10) calls and discussions with *****, one of the clerks, I was finally able to speak with the owner ***. *** told me it would be a $75.00 fee for him to come out so I paid the money. He came out on 4/21/2023 and said that he needed to see if he could find a replacement. I have called 4 times since that date and have not had any response from ***. I just looked at the reviews for this business and do not think I am the only person who has been experiencing the run around and would like to get a resolution. A simple belt installed on my treadmill would be great.Initial Complaint

Went to Play it Again Sports to purchase used ski equipment for myself and my family. In being beginning skiers we don't know a lot about the sport and were hoping for input on what to get. Overall, the store employees were not helpful nor knowledgeable. With very little help from the employees, we did end up find skis and boots for myself and my daughters, but they had nothing in my husband's suze. The store clerk set the boots to fit the ski bindings. They told us that each ski was appropriate for each boot and would be good skis for each of us. The next day, I took the 3 sets of skis to s local ski shop to have them waxed and to get the bunding settings checked. Not only did he tell me that the settings were off, he also informed me that the skis that I purchased for myself were actually junior skis and that they were not safe to use with my adult boot. He also pointed about a broken part on one of my skis. Later in the week, we went down to Renew Ski in ********** to look for skis for my husband. Since the owner was so friendly and knowledgeable, I asked him to look at the set that Play it Again had sold me. He reiterated to me that they were not safe for me to use with my adult shoes. He was surprised that Play it Again sold the skis to me knowing that they were to be used by me. I then called Play it Again and asked to be refunded for the skis. I explained that there was a broken piece and that I had now been informed by two separate people how dangers they would be for me to use. They informed me that they could only offer me a store credit. I then asked them if there were skis there that were my size that they could exchange them for and they said no, so I again requested to just be refuned. The store clerk then called the manger to ask if I could be refunded and she refused to allow it. Please be careful purchasing anything from this company! The fact that they were willing to sell me something that would be dangerous, is wrong.Initial Complaint

On August 20th 2022 Play It Again Sports sold golf clubs for me on consignment and as of today I still have not been paid the $295 they owe me. They now have the money they owe me and the money they made on the clubs. I have made numerous phone calls and trips to the store and I keep being told they are out of checks. Every time I call the date for the delivery of the checks moves to a later date. I have read complaints from people online that even when they receive a check that it bounces. I called today, September 14th, and asked to speak with the store owner and that I wanted to be paid in cash today. I was told by ***** that he would be in this afternoon and that he would give him the message. When I called back because I had not received a call I was told by ***** that the owner would not be in until Monday. Please help me to get my money.
