Starting on 11/29/21 I stayed at The Travelodge in Fairfield/Napa Valley for a week total through the Covid 19 Homeless Assisstance Program. The program paid for the 100 dollar deposit and for 7 nights total for 2 separate single bed non smoking rooms(rm#***&rm#***). During my stay I called the front desk and notified the hotel that the refrigerator in rm *** was not working, both TV's were not working in both rooms, both hair dryers were not working in both rooms, and the power in both rooms was not working except for the bathroom. Though no one ever came to fix the problem during my whole stay. Also on the day of my checkin i was told that there was an ant problem in rm ************************************************************************** the corner of the room and to make sure my kids dont touch it. Since it was a free room for me and I had no where else from me, my husband, and our 2 kids to go and i continued staying that whole week without non of the issues being fixed. Though the room was free for me the Travelodge was still getting paid for each night from the program. That being said we she being getting the same amenities, quality of the rooms, and treatment as everyone else that pays for a room to stay there. After my week was up I was still waiting for my deposit from my last room #*** which was in my name and was a separate reservation not through the program to be refunded back on my debit card. It took me calling and complaining for a whole month asking why i haven't received my deposit for them to finally tell me that they took my deposit from my stay in rm #*** to pay for the damaged shower curtain in room #*** when the program already paid them a deposit of 100 dollars for rm *** is not even in my name and is whole separate account and reservation. Its under ***************************** name which is the head of the Covid 19 Homeless Assistance Program. So i dont understand why they would take my deposit to pay for another persons account damages.Business response
