  On Wednesday 10/4/23, I attended one of the FREE Pageant Training Class Miss Sacramento, ****************** 2023 from 7-8 pm. I liked the class and decided I wanted to continue with the pageant so I paid the entry fee of $195 that night. I was told that if something came up she would help me out and that I would be taken care of. Not too long after, a family emergency came up that would prevent me from being able to compete in the pageant. I contacted ******* letting her know that I was so sorry but wouldnt be able to compete in the pageant due to a personal and very unfortunate hardship. She contacted me back saying she was sorry to hear what happened and that she would see what she could do and get back to me ASAP. I didnt hear from her for a bit of time so I called and left a few voicemails. She didnt once return my calls and when I emailed her saying I was trying to contact her to work this out she insisted she was still waiting for a call. It was quite obvious by the lack of contact and no offering of any kind of solutions that she just wanted to take my money and couldnt care less about me as a person. She rarely e-mails back and its only an excuse to say I never called or that the decision maker isn't in (she is the owner, director, and established the place so I'm not sure who is above her) and even blocked my number (it started going straight to voicemail). I tried calling with a no-caller id (*67 before her number) to see if she would pick up for that but she never did. I have no way of contacting her unless I drive an hour round trip to get there. I dont have time for that right now with everything going on and she very clearly refuses to contact me and work with me on this. She took my money and as soon as something came up, she cut off contact with me, leaving me even more hurt than before. I am uncomfortable working with her ever again. I have attached the emails exchanged and call logs proving that I have tried calling many many times.
