      On 08/06 I went to the urgent care with a UTI they took a urine sample and said that I didn't have a UTI. I asked, are you sure? I'm in so much pain with frequent urgency to pee. They said No. I left and stopped at CVS and got a home test it was positive immediately. I put the test in a baggie and went back to the Urgent Care. They said, sit down and fill out paperwork. I said, Are you serious ! I was just here. They said , You are just trying to get antibiotics ! I went home thinking maybe I really didn't have one but still in pain , by 10pm that night I was shaking and crying in so much pain. My husband took me to the ** , they had to give me a pain shot immediately. They stated the infection was over double normal and gave me 10 days of antiboitics 4x a day. I have since received a bill that is almost ******. I have attempted to call ******* at ************ mulitple times . I leave messages and call back when they say she is available . I have gotten no where. I cannot pay ****** for a simple UTI that should have been diagnosed properly. If CVS pharmacy home test can diagnose it why can a Urgent care not. They need to update their tests . And not accuse people of trying to get antiboitics.

      I have tried to call *************** several times, and to no avail she is usually at work and we continue to miss each others calls. 

      ***************, entered the clinic on August 6, 2023 with complaints of difficult urination.  She was examined by ****************** whom then ordered a **********. Our UA machine is automated and stated she did not have a bladder infection. Please see medical records attachment.  it looks as though she went to the Emergency Room after leaving the clinic, seeking an antibiotic, which was not given at Folsom Urgent Care. 

      *************** has called the clinic several times stating we have to pay her Emergency Room bill, because ****************** did not prescribe her an antibiotic.  She has also left threats of calling the media and exposing poor treatment. Dr. ************* felt  the results from the urinalyses,  that was done in the office, she  did not require an antibiotic.

      I apologize she was not happy with her visit.  ****************** has been a Medical Provider for over 30 years and is a very good Provider.

      I am rejecting this response because: none of that was true ! I went in pain they said no infection , I went to cvs got a home test which said positive I took the home test back to show them I had an infection . They stated I didnt. How does a home test show positive and a *********** They again sent me home stating I just wanted antibiotics. I went to the ** at 10pm shaking and doubled over in pain . The ** stated that my infection was 3x normal numbers for an infection. They didnt understand why I was sent away in pain . **** for a uti ! 700 out of pocket . Women know when they are in pain .

      The exam which was completed on the patient states, No apparent distress, no tenderness of the abdomen or unusual skin texture, no abdominal mass.  UA dipstick ************** results were negative for  blood in urine, nitrites were negative and Protein was negative.  ****************** treated the patient according to her test results which were negative.  Her Diagnosis was Dysuria (painful urination) Although many physicians equate dysuria as a urinary tract infection it is actually a symptom that has many potential cause. Empiric  treatment with antibiotics may be inappropriate, except in carefully selected patients.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I am a 64 year old women. I am not trying to get antibotics . My husband has a federal govt plan because he works for the federal govt. I have had problems with that because people think it is a free plan and that I am trying to get something. I was 100% sick. I tried to convince them. I work for the *********************** so I don't make the kind of money to go to the ** for a simple infection. If it had not been a Sunday Dr *** would have 100% gave me antibotics, my Mom had C diff so I am not wanting antibotics. I have attached my ** papers. When I went from Urgent Care to CVS and got a home test it was 100% positive . I took it to Urgent care in a baggie and brought the other test in the box and offered to take it in front of them . They refused. I had NO choice but to go the the ** I was shaking and crying in pain.
