Six months ago, on our way back to ******** from **********, my wife was driving our ** motorhome on I-70 just east of ****************. She pulled into a rest stop and accidentally drove the ** into a snow bank. We had to be towed out of the snow bank, but the vehicle seemed to be ok and without damage. A couple hours later, going up the mountain at *****************, the vehicle overheated and the dashboard indicated that we needed to pull over immediately. It was snowing and cold, we were jammed into Sunday traffic, and we were quite lucky to be near a pull off. A driver next to us, also in an **, told me that they had waited there 24 hours for a tow truck. I knew if we were stuck there our plumbing pipes would freeze, so we felt very fortunate to almost immediately have a tow truck turn in and offer a tow. He towed us back to ******** where we were charged $1425 for the tow and then the mechanic also charged us about another $150 for the repair. The mechanic diagnosed a radiator repair that was needed, saying that when we hit the snow bank the snow pushed the radiator up into the cooling fan. Impingement of the fan caused the problem. Under the strain of the uphill climb, the vehicle overheated. It would have happened sooner had it not been snowing and cold. When Good *** insurance was contacted they requested pictures and then said the pictures showed no damage and that they were not liable for any payment. They claimed there was no accident. I requested that they send an adjuster to look at what happened, and talk to the mechanic. They never sent anyone, but ultimately they did talk to the mechanic who confirmed what is detailed above. I have tried repeatedly to get reimbursement, but at this point my emails and phone calls are not returned. I do have documentation of all of this and names and phone numbers for the mechanic and the tow truck driver.Initial Complaint

I am a senior disabled lady who must watch every dime I spend because I'm low income and not able to work. My bank notified me I was withdrawn. The reason was a debit if $28.77 by Good *** insurance company. This was neither requested or needed. The lady at Good *** told me they get your information if you request an insurance quote from "The General" insurance on the Internet. They have need charging my account t since April 2021!!!!! I requested a refund on Nov. 1st. They have not replied.
