On may 31st my boyfriend and I financed a car from socal automotive, less than 3 days later we discovered the horn wasn’t working, windshield wipers wernt working, and occasionally it wasn’t backing up. I have messages with the dealer about all of these problems at this time. they only worked on the windshield wipers, horn, and never told us anything about the car not backing up. Over the month of June we had to keep taking the car back for different issues. Then eventually they said it needed a new transmission and said we needed to wait until 30 days after we bought the car before they can change the transmission otherwise we would have to pay for it. They said if we waited we didn’t have to pay. We asked to trade the car or refund they said no. We waited and took the car back around july 10th. it was in for 2 weeks the a/c went out same day. They said it was the compressor and worked on that as well. we got it back july 21st with the a/c still blowing hot and then discovered later in the night that it was leaking. we were told if we waited we wouldn’t have to pay, we now need to pay the remaining amount for the transmission. When we financed, we signed warranty papers and they would take care of the issues it had when they sold it to us. I’m about to have a baby, my Boyfriend keeps losing out on work which has affected us extremely financially. We brought the car back in july 24th. They dont want to take fault for the damages they caused. because my boyfriend put jb weld on the leak so we could make it to the shop. Kevin ended up doing some of the work to make it drivable for us for free and said all we need to do is get a condenser. Later the car started making a noise I texted kevin and he said one of the mechanics took a broken piece off the radiator fan. 2 minutes later it fell off and caused more damage. Now we need to buy those parts as well. We asked for a trade in or refund again and they said no because they believe it was our fault.
