Date of transaction: 1/8/22; invoice ****. We conducted business over the phone and via text message with employee, *****, where i selected a bunk bed and a mattress and was told the delivery and setup fee was $100 from Fontana, CA to San Jacinto CA. ***** then sent me a picture of the final invoice with the bunk bed, twin mattress and delivery and setup fee. It was clear at this time of the distance from the business to my home as it is listed on the invoice. However, upon arrival at my home, i was told setup was NOT included and i would need to pay an additional $100 for setup because the distance was too far. Then when i advised them that the invoice written by ***** indicated the setup was included, agreed to uphold the original price of the agreement for delivery and setup for the bunk beds. However, the driver then asked me if i knew what bunk bed i had ordered, i showed him the picture and he then informed me that was not what he was going to setup. I called ***** and she said they would have to return with the bunk bed i purchased. The driver left the mattress and was told i would get called for delivery and setup of the bunk bed. However, 4 hours passed and so i called the store again and no answer. I texted ***** the next day at 3 PM, 1/10/22 since i still had not hear anything and she informs me they do not have the bunk bed i purchased and offered me an alternate. I declined and she stated via text she would only charge me for the mattress. On 1/11/22, there was still no update to the charges and no response from calls to the store or text. Today, 1/12/22, ***** calls and says they will have to charge me for the mattress AND the $100 delivery. I needed this bed urgently for my two daughters which i was promised would be delivered on Monday, 1/10/22. If i had known i was going to be charged $100 for just the delivery of a mattress, i wouldve found other means to deliver the single mattress to my home. They did business under false pretenses.
