We are a ***************** and we were shopping for Commercial Trucking. All interactions (phone and email) were made with ***********************, Account Executive license number *******. She submitted quote, *** signed documents, COI and link for downpayment deposit. Our insurance policy listed NORTHLAND INSURANCE COMPANY (NAIC # *****) AS ONLY INSURER. Travelers was payment platform used and since the beginning of the policy monthly payments were set up for autopay. Our company stopped operations in February and requested a cancellation through AGENT and notify payment platform for autopay removal on 02/12/2024 AND CHECKED WITH REP THERE WAS NOT ANY AMOUNT DUE (YOU CAN CHECK CALL TRANSCRIPTS). Even though Travelers took the monthly payment that reimbursed after a dispute since the policy was already cancelled. Turned out that now ***************** on behalf of Northland Insurance Company hired a ***************** Leviton Law Firm and **************************************, Senior Account Rep. claims we owe $3,090.90 to Travelers/ Northland and that policy was under **************** instead by another ************* named CRC INS SERVICES *** cancelled due to lack of payment on 03/27/24. (payments were made) We have provided evidence to ********************* and explained that contract, policy, agent interactions, COI and Cancellation Request/Certificate is ALL and ONLY related to NORTHLAND Company and ELITE INSURANCE AGENT. And still she told us to call CRC INS SERVICES ***. From our point of view, we are convinced that issue responds to a bad managed & performance from AGENT that should be called accountable. Inconsistencies: no mention of Truckman Insurer or CRC INS on COI (only Northland and Elite) Travelers was informed of cancellation ON TIME. If Truckman were under Northland Insurance, once cancellation is requested through AGENT, isn't supposed to be ALL CANCELED as well? If we owed Travelers, why was refund? Cancellation was EFFECTIVE on 02/12/2024, why 03/27? Could you please help?ThankBusiness response

Unfortunately insureds don't always understand how Insurance is accessed. We used CRC to access ********* which is owned by Travelers. We have no control how insurnace companies are organized or who is responsible for taking the monthly payments. We are responsible to collect the down payment, but after that we have nothing more to do with payment as those are made directly to the insurnace company which is what what has taken place. All the things explained are things we have no control over. We thank you for bringing this to our attention, but how insurnace are structured and who is responsible for taking payments is out of our control.
