      I contacted this company on the evening of 03/06/23 to reserve a Dino jumper for an event on 03/19/23. They informed me it would be an additional 90$, for park insurance, because we are having our event in a public community park. As per their request, I sent 90$ via Zelle to pioneer star group inc, DBA & that number was ###-###-####. I called back the next morning 03/07/23 to cancel because we had changed our minds about using their service and product. She then said that the park insurance was non refundable. I asked for a manager and The woman I spoke with, ******* ******, who is apparently is the manager/owner of the company, said “there was no one I could talk to above her, she was it”. I told her that this is fraud and asked how they could justify keeping 90$ for “park insurance” that would not be used; Especially when no contract was signed, in addition to the fact I was not informed that the “park insurance” would be non refundable when she requested me to zelle the 90$ to them. She then started to patronize me by saying, “you seem mad and if you are having a bad day, you could call back later”. I told her that if she didn’t refund me I was going to write a review of what they do to their customers online, and I would file a complaint with the BBB. I want a refund for the “park insurance” that I won’t be using.

      Good afternoon,  We have a no refund policy that is explained on our invoice, explained at the time of confirmation and also explained once the payments are made. We are not the insurance carrier and as they pay us to process the insurance we pay the insurance carrier to process the insurance as well. Once payment is received insurance is processed right away, However we did let the customer know that we were more than willing to give her a discount on her next order. This is still valid if she does decide to rescheduled. We are sorry that mother nature did not work in her favor but at the end of the day we paid and processed the insurance. - *******

       I am rejecting this response because:
         They are giving you misinformation, I never signed a contract or invoice, I was never told that it was non refundable or that I would have a discount on anything, I was told over the phone I had to pay via zelle, wasn’t given the option to come in person to discuss matters, I was told it was for park insurance, she was very unprofessional and demeaning with me when telling me I sounded upset and if you’re having a bad day you can call back later and dismissed me and wouldn’t speak to me further, the cancellation had nothing to do with weather..it was the price they charged triple for going rate for a basic jumper, $347 for a $120 jumper and I told her that when I called. I told them it was out of my budget. Again, how can you justify keeping insurance monies on something that it’s being insured?! This is fraud and I won’t accept anything other than a refund.
