Today, we bought a clearance refrigerator at Home Depot. Before the purchase, we asked if we could test the refrigerator's functions. The store employee refused to let me test it and guaranteed that the refrigerator was working properly. So I hired contractors to help me bring the refrigerator home. But the refrigerator's cooling system was completely inoperable. When I went back to find the store clerk, he told me the only thing I can do is to bring the refrigerator back in order to get a refund. My request was asking the homedepot carrier to send someone to pick it up themselves. Selling me a broken refrigerator is their problem, and I would have to pay an additional $300 to hire a contractor to ship it back. I hope that they can either give me a working refrigerator in exchange or send someone to pick this one up.Initial Complaint

I have order washer and dryer and a refrigirator during holiday season from this home depot location.at first, they said they did not receive the electrolox washer and dryer from the vendor, after I followed up with vendor, the vendor confirmed they already delivered both items to home depot and sit in the ware house, not deliver. I requested supervisor to follow up over a month.Later I called them again, they told me refrgirator is damanged, they are looking for replacement, I am not sure why Home Depot just carry one regrigirator in warehouse. I have confirmed the deliver date with them.today I called them again in the morning, they said it is ready to delivery, but I am waiting whole day in home, they did not deliver, and called them again, they said the order has been cancelled.Customer response
